How are female pedophiles and child killers treated in women's prison?

Do they get just singled out and treated the worst just as their male counterparts or no?

They get treated terribly and often have to be moved to a safer area to prevent them from getting hurt or killed by other inmates.

Women's prisons often have nurseries and there are a lot of new or expectant mothers there so they'll obviously not accept a child killer or paedophile very well in prison, especially when they're in close proximity to the nurseries. Most women in prison often are there due to petty crime, prostitution, assault or drug use, but they don't tolerate child killers/paedophiles, especially when women are the most maternal and protective about their children.

Very similar, if not worse, as men in male prisons. In women facilities you have a bunch of mothers. The maternal instinct doesn't go away when you go behind bars. Female prisons are like high schools on steroids. Women talk, they ostracize, they physically assault, they turn other inmates against them, they rape with knives, they assault, they are vicious.

Not saying that they don't do that in male prisons, but there's a maternal instinct added in the female facility. Also you get all the female emotions involved and it's going to get ugly.
