I like it, but the Porsche 911 is cool too. They go hand and hand honestly. Porsche's also cheaper. And to buy one, you'd probably need to work one of the top paying jobs in the country and save for years to be smart about actually buying one, not just leasing. It takes consideration before even thinking about buying one. It's not about having the money up front to buy it, it's about having the extra money saved up. And gas and repairs are the true killers. You have to be settled and have stable work. Price starts at $115,900 for Audi, and $84,300 for the porsche for 2015 models.

well there are few R8 models you can buy, the basic R8 with the 4.2L v8 costs $115,000
the convertible model is even more
Then you have the audi R8 v10, which has a lamborghini engine that will cost you $153,000
there is a v10 convertible and a v10+ all which keep getting more expensive
options will make all these cars significantly more expensive

Yes & yes. I think they're like £100,000+ which I would never pay for a car. It would probably cost that much in fuel each year which I think is a huge waste of money. It's not a car you could keep for a lifetime, you'd be lucky to get a couple years out of it without losing on big money. Also, cars like that drop in value every hundred/thousand miles, by thousands of pounds so you could end up having to sell it at half the price.

It's a pretty cool car, but I kind of find it ridiculous to use the word "sexy" describing a car. It's the person driving it that matters. And I could not imagine spending so much money on a car.

Well considering its price, you have to pay at least 1.8k per month to mortgage it and after that the insane insurance prices go up to about $300 per month along with pretty expensive gas fillups probably ~$100 per week if you drive it regularly as a daily driver. Maintenance is also about ~$80 a month for oil change and the little scams the dealers offer. That would mean you'd have to make at least ~2.3k to even support the car itself. Factoring in rent, food, school, and water/gas usage costs, you'd have to make at least ~5k PER MONTH to support yourself leisurely with no income stress. I'd say stay away from that and start with a Camaro, Mustang, 370Z, Mini, Prius, etc. Since they're all ~30k and a single person should have no problem mortgaging that if they have a good stable income.

YES! It is the sexiest car out there! A true work of art by Audi! It's performance, luxury, looks, and technology are a force to be recognized.

Obviously it's a super car. Duh. That's what it was made to be.

Income wise you'd need to be a successful doctor or surgeon to own one. A brand new V10 costs around $155-$200k US dollars (nobody cares about the V8) depending on options and if you get the plus model or not. Convertible is more expensive, but it's not worth it because it adds weight and removes the kickass side blade.

Used V10's can be had for $80-100k depending on year, Transmission (get the manual) and such. V8's are much cheaper.

It's the car that is my favorite and got me into Audis.

if your a gear head like myself its not a vary sexy car at all, it looks good but its slow for how much it costs, if you looking for a sports car or your looking at a guy with a sports car, this car says that you or he is more focused on the "look" and "style" of things rather than the substance. a lambo or maybe a GT-R is more substance than style, there both really just status symbols, you'll never use a lambo or any super car for what its meant to do. personally i think the cars you build from the ground up with your own two hands are the most "sexy" cars because you build it for a reason.

Is it sexy? The convertible kind of is, but there are better looking sports cars out there. All Audis look far too similar (boring) for my taste.

I don't consider it an exotic on the same level as something like a Veyron, Zonda or Aventador.

The Audi r8 basically defines sex on wheels. It is audis supercar. Msrp is about $120,000.00. Realistically, If you have to finance it, you probably can't afford it. It is not meant to be a daily driver, but a secondary weekend car.

The R8 is an awesome car. I've seen a couple at the track. Used R8's are pretty rare. The cheapest one on AutoTrader is $88.000. If you could get a 72-month loan with very good credit it would cost you about $1400/month.

not a super car, but a very good car. if your gonna buy you have to buy the V10 version since the V8 is not really that good at all. you can find a clean used one for around 140 grand.

Audi R8 is a super car, enjoy the ride. Afterwards have him show you his house or condo, see if the furniture and decoration matches the Style of a R8 If its cheap or shabby you are safe to assume he uses the car to pickup girls only. Stay away.
