Do Any Well-known Grocery Stores Sell Marzipan?

I need marzipan because I am going to make some delicious cakes and desserts! But i'm not sure if places like Stater Brother's, Ingle's, Food City, Wal-Mart, etc. sell it. Do you know any grocery markets that do?

Any grocery store that has an instore bakery that actually does their own baking (not everything is from frozen) should have it. I've worked in several grocery store bakeries (Canadian stores though) and they make it in store. You could try Sobeys, I worked for one of their owned enterprises and we made it in store.

ah, I don't know anything about American stores so I can't really help you, but I know any store where they actually do their own baking should make it. Just ask at the bakery counter.

I checked the internet. it said you should be able to find it in a general grocery store but it won't be cheap.

Yes, many do. Wal-Mart claims to sell it on their website.

Oops, this won't help you but here in Belgium they do... marzipan is very popular here both pure and for use in cakes :-)
