Soft core is what most movies are and that's just down to satisfying sensors so they get an R rating and therefore get more theaters to release it, which means more people will have access to and watch it.
This movie is not actual p*rn , as most men (and women :) the internet over know it. There's not even going to be any male frontal nudity.
The people making this movie want it to make a tone of money, and everyone in Hollywood is still pretty dumb when it comes to what women view. They assume we'll see a penis and freak out, that we must be protected or that we are children who've never seen a man naked before and would find it gross or something.
In short: II really hope there will be a directors cut.
