This is what women want, to be loved unconditionally by someone they want. To be innately special.
Which is why many women get offended when asked what they bring to the table.
My friend and I watched the movie together a few years ago. We were laughing the whole time. The movie is a good one if you’re in the mood for some comedy. We kept making fun of the characters. 365 days is another godawful one. Just too cringey for my liking.
I like reading romance novels. It’s kind of a nice escape from reality. It’s not about me wanting to fall in love with a billionaire bad boy or whatever, but it’s just really fun to read and makes me feel like I’m in a relationship without having to be in one. I barely had any time to date anyone in high school (but I did end up dating one guy for around 3 months), so reading romance novels made me feel like I was experiencing a whirlwind, dramatic romance without having to experience all the headache that comes with one. A better question would be why the vast majority or these type of steamy/romance novels have a female fan base. The girl who played Anastasia Steele was far from average, though.
I don’t get offended when someone asks me what I bring to the table. It’s a genuine question and I’ll answer it honestly. It’s the way some men word the question, as though, all women are trash.
I guess for some people it's that cinderella story of like "everything you could possibly want in a guy (even the things that aren't necessary for a good relationship like absurd amounts of money) and he's completely in love with you despite the odds" I guess? (But like, BDSM flavored lol) I'm not actually familiar with it, but I think there's lot of stories like that. Just because people like reading about the "perfect guy" doesn't mean they're actually holding out for him though.
Learn this..."Bigger, faster, Tougher, Stronger, and Smarter"
Look at those stupid vampire movies and this 50 Shades bullshit... what are the correlations between the two?
Something not listed on my stupid list is they just happen to have insane amounts of money compared to someone that drives a bus for a living.
It sort of breaks women's choices in men down, doesn't it? Start pulling up other chick flicks... always the same shit. It's porn for them. We, dudes, are good just seeing a pretty face and some titties bouncing around. They like that money + power dynamic that outshines them.
They seem to gloss over that the woman in 50 Shades was a virgin while most of them have been ran through. Most women by definition cannot be special because then the word loses its meaning. Most modern women are proud that they don't cook or clean and offer men nothing but sex and liability.

50 Shades of Grey describes female nature in great detail as does Twilight and the After Series
this can be also be seen with hot/rich/famous "toxic" bad boys whom lots of women flock to
meanwhile male romantic stories have everything completely wrong and the guy is usually a simp who starts off as an underdog when only dominant alpha winners get women
There's also this thing where women like to fantasize over Romantic Comedies (for example) but they also know they would never want to be with a guy as soft/simping as the guy in the movie. But yes there's also women who like being with weak guys.
Its easy... Because 50 Shades of Grey is adult version of Beauty and the Beast if you think about it. Same with Twilight movies
Jordan Peterson explains:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/p8ePDKlF6T0Its a bad movie with the basic cash grab romance type of things in addition to an awful representation how bdsm works in real life. 'I dont make love I fuck hard'😂😂😂😂
I never understood the hype around it and is not the type of book I would read.
Never watched or read the Twilight either LOL.
No idea there is wayy better smut out there then this book
Because it shows being her submissive self and a man being his dominant self in a relationship. But in some areas sick ways. She gets to be at home and she has rules to follow. He still loves and protects her and respect her. But he leads.
I think some western gold diggers might like it because of the reason you said tho. So there can be two types of people watching it
I must be one of the very few women on the planet who has never read the book or seen any of the films.
Many women secretly want to be sexually dominated by a man. Not many women want to be with a sexually inexperienced man boy. I am sure that the same is true for the most hardened feminist behind closed doors. Think BDSM.
Never seen it and I doubt I ever will.
Its a fantasy romance. The cliché boss and coworker fling, the drama.
I never watched the movie. But, I guess I’m still a terrible person because of me being a woman 🤷♀️
50 shades is basically a Jane Austin novel with sex and bdsm
A woman finding love and getting married to a handsome wealthy man against all odds and him loving her despite him being superior and all her faults whether it be a lower social standing, advanced age, no wealth or immaturity.
Never read any of the books. Was curious about the movie but it was so bad I gave up.
You can find that out without turning a date into a job interview.
Rich handsome billionaire plus (I have not watched it but I assume so) she gets naughty and cheats or so, and then he punishes her, which seems most lower class female's fantasy and entire identity.
If anyone was flawed it was him lol. Anna was actually a pretty normal girl. Now grey had a lot of control issues and childhood traumas.
What I did like about him was that he was very attractive, intelligent, successful and ambitious despite his screwed up childhood
@deserter it doesn't make up for his flaws at all. Anna should've left him. He was unbearable. Ugh no, you're just one of those red pills who can't get a woman so you believe a woman should settle for abuse. You're not a catch that's why you have no profile picture
Maybe because the movie shows dominant man and scenes are intense than fake porn
Cause they liked beingdominated and hands pinned down and fcked in the pussy !
