I drop my newborn kitten by accident should I be concern if its harm?

So my newborn kitten is a orphan, my cat who was the mother died yesterday so the kitten is by itself I been taking care of it all morning and I was on the computer I feel bad I was stupid I should had pay attention when it crawl off my lap. It fell and hit the floor I quickly pick it up and I'm really concern right now about it, I google about it and my kitten doesn't seem like it was harmed. I check by poking at it to see if it cry in pain nothing, I saw if it can crawl like before (it stills does) after the drop it went back to sleep when I held it in my shirt on my lap. I'm kinda consider about the breathing but I'm pretty sure its normal breathing but I'm sure does any one else think its going to be okay?

<\3 awwww poor kitty! But don't feel too bad! It could have happened to anyone. But from now on I wouldn't hold it on your lap while yore using the computer because you can't pay complete attention to it. As for it's condition, it seems fine and cats do have 9 lives ;)
If you're concerned you can just take your kitten to the vet to get it checked out. I do know that cats can fall a few stories and still be okay... so maybe falling like a foot is okay since it's just a kitten... it may have been shocked and a little hurt but unless you notice any changes or limping or anything than it's probably fine. I wouldn't poke it though :/

Yeah but its a newborn recently born that's why I'm concern and the problem is the kitty can't sleep without me wrap it in my shirt and placing it in my lap before the fall I just put it down 3 times to put it back in its box and it cry when I did it mins later so I had no choice but to do keep it in my lap because I don't want it to cry.

I see. Well, the bet thing you can do for it is to take it to the vet or a shelter so it can get proper care and to check if it's okay.

you should take it to a shelter or a vets, a newborn orphan isn't going to have great chances of survival. theyll put it on cat milk replacement or use a foster cat to suckle the kitten, theylly know how to massage it to make it go to the bathroom and itll be in good hands there

Did it fall on it's head? Also try to point a flash light into it's eyes and see whether pupils somehow react or not (they should become smaller). If they react than it's most likely that everything is fine with it. Also your kitten might be sleepy for a while after such fall. I would assume that everything is fine since cats and dogs have stronger skull and bones which can take harder hits without having serious injuries. If you are really concerned that something bad might happened you should better take it to a professional. Hope I helped! :)

it did not fall on its head it fell on its stomach. It seems fine but the breathing is different I feel like crap :(.

I know how you feel. My puppy jumped off my hands and landed on head (thank God nothing serious). I can't forgive myself until now that she had to overcome such pain.
So about breathing. It might be like aftershock for it. You should wait longer and see whether it normalizes or not. If you feel something might be wrong with it go to the vet ASAP.

Oh yeah. And try listening to whether your kitten purrs or not without being touched. Because cats also purr when they feel pain.

It should be on it wasn't from a great height and their legs are better at absorbing the fall than us.
