Will an old ID still scan?

Thought I had lost my drivers license, so I went and requested a replacement. Later that day I found it. I want to go out tonight, but the bar scans id's. Will it still scan or no?

Wait if you found your license then why does it matter whether your old one works or not? Unless it's expired I think you're fine.

worried about the scanner coming up as 'void' because the other was reported as lost/theyve mailed me a new one.

Hm I don't know, I guess that's a possibility but it honestly doesn't sound like a big problem. Even if that happens I'm sure you could explain that you're waiting for your new ID. I'd be surprised if you get turned down.
