Usually not- unless you lose your badge.
At least at my job, you get one free badge picture when you get hired. After that, if you want a new picture, you have to pay for it out of pocket- which honestly isn't worth it, lol. Even when people get promotions or change positions internally keep the same picture, but get a new badge with their new title on it.
Most don't, because some businesses have to pay for these badges themselves, and if they allow people to retake their photos it can up costing them thousands extra
Honestly no one even pays attentions to the photo on the badge, except the person whose badge it is. I've seen registered nurses in hospitals who flip their badges over so the back of their badge is only visible to people
Only if I lost my badge, or it got bent somehow.
