My bus driver called me beautiful today. Should I take this a compliment or be creeped out?

When I got on the bus today, my bus driver told me, "Good morning beautiful". He looks around 50 and I'm 19. I was the only one on the busand he kinda made me uncomfortable. He also told me that he didn't mean to say this to me in a creepy way, just as a compliment. Should I believe him or be creeped out? What do you think of this?

If he was saying hi beautiful, like calling u a girl or sumthing i would take it as a sarcastic friendly insult but only if u kbew him well enough. Like if im chilling with friends and someone calls me sally or f** id return it pansy or somthing.

Many times we as humans are pretty good at picking up if something is innocent enough or creepy. Just the vibe…. As far as that goes. Take it as a complement. But if he does other stuff or gets agrewsive. Say something
