Anyone else feel feminism is about cherry picking instead of equality?

It feels like feminism now a days is about cherry picking all the things about being a man that women like whilst discarding all equal stuff they don't want, and on top of that keeping all the female advantages they have. I would love to hear feminists counter argument to this. (Mainly for women, but I am never going to use the only guys/only girls option).

Are you for real? Feminism fights for female rights that males already have. Feminism fights for the right to education in developing countries, it fights for bullying based on gender and sexuality stereotypes to be stopped by changing perceptions of those things, it fights for the end of toxic masculinity. That's not to say masculinity is toxic, it's about stereotypes being broken down, i. e. all men are strong/don't cry/don't show emotion because that is damaging for men. Among many other things, the list is endless and broad.

No not at all. It fights for the boys who grow up being told they can't cry because thats "girly" or "weak", it fights for guys who want to straighten their hair but their friends will call them a "fag", it fights for all the children who are born in the wrong body. It fights for human beings.

well, crying is a sign of weakness, regardless of gender, unless there is a big fucking reason behind it. As for being “strong” how is that a bad thing?' the only point I can conceede you is the emotional thing, if by that you mean being comunicative, etc (not whining, etc)... tbh, I prefer the old sterotypes (honor, strength, loyalty, stoic, etc..) than the new stereotypes enforced by feminism (rapist, evil, lazy, morons, crying-adults, etc...) that is the real “toxic” masculinity...

Well in dating is a big example, they fight to abolish gender roles females have to abide by but never the ones men do. The Boy Scouts (or Scouts as they know have to be called) is another example where feminism only cares about 'equality' one way they demanded that girls be allowed in but if boys want in to the Girl Guides then well too bad and the fight against that. And other issues. I could go on but those are a few.

Well if we get rid of the idea that all women are good is taking care of kids, then in custody battles the kids won't defaultly go to the mom because they don't think the dad can't nurture.
If we get rid of the idea that certain actions or traits belong to a certain gender then guys won't feel pressure to be macho all the one. Being vulnerable, crying, anything that's typically feminine will now be okay for everyone
A lot of the time the reason girl want I be allowed into boys activities is because women's activities get little to no recognition. It march so march madness, but how many of your friends do you know filled out a women bracket. How many female soccer players do you know that aren't the ones on the news for being sexy.
So girls feel the only way to get recognition is to prove their worthy and you can only do that against the already worthy. I don't If we payed equal attention or care to both girls and boys activities people wouldn't feel a need to grapple acknowledgment.
