Why do people think that all girls with "daddy issues" are sluts?

Depends on the "issues" you are talking about, and how they handle them. Many women who lack a father will try to find a male substitute. But when you try to find a surrogate dad and husband at the same time, ladies, you often set yourselves up for failure. And that requires having to jump around from one guy to the next in the hopes of finding one that can put up with your baggage long after the first screw. And that's how reputations form.

Also, if you become slutty out of rebellion to break dad's heart for him breaking yours, then presto! Reputation earned. And rebels are the worst kind, because they are too bitter to care about the damage they've caused to innocent third parties.

There are few things more despairing to an individual than the inability to win the approval of a father figure. It is spiritually symbolic, and the Devil knows it. Dad doesn't care. He doesn't love you. Can't. Therefore, how could you trust that God could love you either? So why even try?

This is at the root of a lot of societal problems - not just sluttery.

Because they usually are.
The biggest slut I know has MAJOR daddy issues. She is only 23, had 22 sexual partners recorded when she was 21, lost track of count and stopped putting it on paper because it made her feel nasty. Now she has a baby and she has NEVER EVEN BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP. She has never even had a boyfriend yet she has already had an STD, an abortion, a child, and probably near 30 sexual partners. #DaddyIssues.

I have what you call dad issues too. Actually it’s not unknown for me to go long periods without sex because I do not want to get close to a guy. I don’t trust men to love me so in relationships I am prone to stray if they do anything that hurts me even if it’s something imagined. I can feel that guys when they find me attractive are thinking about sex because I come off very vulnerable and open. Sometimes it’s not even me but them who constantly check me out for sex or think I’m easy even if I haven’t had sex for years. I think it’s the neediness that they can see that makes them think that way. To ward it off, I have pretended to be conservative in the past but I was so lonely. However after many years of Celibacy it became easier for me to not jump into relationship so nowadays it’s much better for me.

It makes sense for girls with dad issues to fal into this behaviour when we live in a society that does not care about people in general. You take a young girl who needs love and approval into a bunch of guys who don’t want commitment they will seek to take advantage of her vulnerabilities because it’s so easy to do. Over time the girl might believe this is what she is good for. If only one mature man paid attention to her without sex over time she might be a more mature person herself. It’s NEVERthe girls fault.
