If a shop assistant gives you too much change, do you tell them and give it back?

Personally, I always tell them and GIVE it back... no matter how big or small the amount of change is.

Yep. If I don't notice until later, and I have the time, I'll even go back and square things up.

Not only is it the right thing to do, but, even speaking in purely opportunistic terms, the merchant is just as likely to give you an even better deal the next time. Win win.

Speaking of a Perfect Scenario, a few months back, there was a Big Error with Cash and Credit and the Clerk... Gave it to me, told me to keep it, even though I literally tried to drop the buck back in her pocket.

A similar thing happened to me the other week. I took my niece and nephew out for an
ice-cream , and the girl thought i had given her £20.00, but it was only a £10.00 . She gave me 15.00 change instead of £5.00 so i told her and gave it back ♥ xxx

I give it back because sometimes it'll come out of their pocket. As a cashier, bartender, waitress, etc, I've given the wrong change and I'm the one who's pocket it comes out of :/

Yes because it only happens with pennies with me and I hate having to carry around pennies so it's really doing me a favor when I give them back. They are worth less than worthless because they simply just take up space for me.
