I'm really worried, this guy recorded me on omegle?

Yesterday, i went on omegle mostly because of boredom. I was talking to this dude, kinda trolling him telling him i'm pregnant and asking him dumb questions, just laughing... he kept asking me to show him my body and of course i refused, then at the end he said this whole time you were recorded if you don't do as i say i will publish this conversation and everyone will see it


i got freaked out and closed the conversation, even though i didn't do anything bad i felt as though my privacy has been invaded. I'm a very private person and i would hate for people i know at work, at school, my friends, to see that i was on omegle... What are the odds of him actualy publishing this conversation or was he just trying to blackmail me into taking of my clothes?

Think about it for a second, if he was recording you, why the hell would he ask for you to send him pictures of yourself? I would've asked him what was in my hand during the entire conversation - call the bluff.

Also, I thought Omegle was only for bots nowadays?

Additionally he'd have trouble releasing it and getting it spread. A recorded video clip of a girl not taking her clothes off doesn't exactly take off like wildfire on the internet.

due to working very closely with the police this is why it would most likely be a waste of your time and why the police wouldn't do anything is it is mostly a reactionary force with out anl action of a crime or evidence of a crime they can not do anything. they will veiw it as conjecture and tell you not to use such sites. Then on top of it falls under international laws in this case and won't lie its just a mess and would be a waste of your time. I personally just forget about it avoid that person

probably he was just trying to get you to do what he wants... the good thing is that you din't do anything stupid and it was just a normal conversation so therez no way he would make it public. thrz nothing fr him to gain. so, just take a deep breath be cool and stop worrying :)

I like someone earlier said doubt that he would release a recording of you for those reasons as long as you didn't tell him your name, have any sort of link to your friends or be one of the very few people who have the skills and abilities to do that sort of damage which are very few and far in between. I would definitely suggest in the future not to troll people or use such sites from the sounds of its not worth your time if your bored read a book, call a friend or watch a movie.
