My pain wasn't localised to the lower right - it was dead in the middle of my lower abdomen and was a combination of period pain, extreme bloating and food poisoning without the... secretions?
It was horrific, and by the time it was diagnosed had leaked so it was a pretty long recovery after having it removed. If you're in doubt definitely seek medical attention

Also, my cousin had appendicitis before and he cried because of the pain so I'm guessing its really bad pain.
Pain extending from the center of the abdomen to the right lower quadrant. The pain is usually severe and increases as the condition progresses, and is usually accompanied by fever. It is a critical medical emergency requiring immediate care, as in call 911.

Extremely painful. It's like period cramps at first, but severe. And flu symptoms, throwing up and stabbing headache. It is miserable
An intense pain in the lower right quadrant of the abdomen, worsening with movement and pressure on the area.

I have no idea but I hope I never find out, I've heard though that the pain is so intense that you can pass out from it.
It feels like death because that's what happens to you.
Like stabbing yourself with a rusty spatula and then just leaving it in there.
