Is possessiveness attractive?

Your partner being slightly possessive about you. Is it good thing or no?
Note that I mean "slightly" and not a complete controlling guy who doesn't let you interact AT ALL with someone of opposite gender etc.

Everything has it's limits. Some would argue that being even slightly possessive is the same as admitting you're insecure and that you don't trust your partner. in my opinion being a little possessive just means you want to mark your territory. That and it boosts your own pride, as well as your partner's, if they're appreciative of it.
