Is this possessiveness?

We dated without labels. There was some unspoken commitment from both our ends. He started acting like he owns me, from my clothes to who all I talk to and sexual liberty. It was more like naked cuddles over sex anytime.

Then he said he doesn't love me and Im free to find any man of choice.

Then when common guy friends try to talk, he breaks the dates.

And yesterday we were at a movies. He and his friend came there and sat next to me. He saw me and asked his friend to move to his original seat so we both are sitting next to each other. That's when I saw him. He was looking at me. So I moved my face away.

Little later he loudly asked the other guy if he wanted to get some pop corn. Out of ordinary loud. Came back, ate it and threw dust near to me. His friend asked him to share me some. He denied sharing or talking and said 'She doesn't talk', all too loud for me to hear.

Again this friend sat between us and he straight up asked the friend to move.

I acted like I paid no attention and continued watching

Then he tried to put his cap in the seat between us but his arms extended beyond normal like almost close to touching me. More like trining to grab attention by fidgeting and moving arms and legs and so on.

I waited for him to leave first but I left early. When I was checking out a poster, he was looking at me and then walked past me without a word.

Is he actually possessive or trying to act cool?
