My turtle keeps swimming against the glass?

I got a little painted turtle yesterday and she came in about an inch and a half of very dirty water with nothing in her cage, i cleaned her tank and put some big rocks and a little basking toy in there, she's been eating just fine, she just keeps swimming up against one side of the glass, i have a bigger tank ill be moving her into this weekend (today is wednesday)

they may want you to feed them... they do that... or want attention. don't feed them but once every other day. They will try to eat constantly; but that can make them sick. some actually like being hand fed... but they can bite :(

I feed her shrimp once in the morning and once at night, then im periodically replacing her kale or bok choy with fresh pieces
