My girlfriend came home with multiple scratches and a few light bruises on her body. uhm... help?

she went out with her best friends in the afternoon yesterday. i didn't see her till she came home at about 1:30 in the morning. when she got back into the house she had scratches (or what looked like scratches) on her arms, legs, forehead, stomach and back. she also had some very small bruises (maybe like 5 in total) on her legs and arms. there was a blood mark on her one arm and i think it's cuz one of the scratches bled cuz it was red too. i walked closer and gently grabbed her arms and asked her what happened. she jokingly said "nothing, don't worry about it (my name)" with a grin on her face then kissed me and walked to our room to put her bag away. i asked if she was ok and she said she was. i then asked her if she did something that hurt her and she said no. it's now 9:40 the morning and she's still sleeping because we got to bed very late. when i looked at her scratches before i left our room they look more red than they did when she first came home. I don't know if it's cuz of oxidation of a kind of wound or what it is. the bruises look darker because they're forming more. i know this is very minimal information to help figure out what happened but that's all i got to say. what do you think she did? please don't say she had violent sex with another guy because that's just immature and childish to assume and she wasn't even with another guy; she was with her best friends who are girls. it almost looks like she fell and if she did... I don't know where that would cause that. what's concerning me is that she isn't telling me what happened but rather telling me not to worry about it, that she's fine, etc. any ideas on how i can get her to possibly tell me what happened? i won't rage out on her or make fun of her because i'm not like that and not that rude

I don't think she was cheating on you I highly believe that she was attacked by somebody or she may have got into a physical fight with her friend. either way get the truth out of her because this is going to start to affect your relationship. besides if it was so-called rough sex with somebody why would it be looking the way is looking on her body. and bleeding I believe she got into a fight with her ex-friend. she doesn't want to talk about it with you because she knows that you're going to be highly pissed and may do something that you're going to regret.

she wouldn't have gotten into a fight with her best friends unless something absolutely tragic happened or that they did to her which has never happened. she doesn't have any ex-friends that would've started a fight

then how did she get those scratches that's so that she's been attacked by somebody. if she was with her friends and she didn't get attacked by her friends then who did she get attacked by? who did she see? somebody attacked her. because if it was something she would have just told you. I'm telling you as a woman of how we think. she doesn't trust you know the information because she doesn't want you to do anything stupid.

Explain a little about what type of person she is? Is she a trouble maker? Likely to be seen fighting? Has had a bad past with an ex? Or is she the sweet, stays out of trouble, minds her own business type of girl?

she is a very sweet girl and will take risks whenever because she's really brave/confident and doesn't really fear much. she doesn't fight often because she usually walks away from them to avoid them. but if a fight is needed, she will sometimes put one up since she doesn't like letting people walk over her when they shouldn't. she minds her own business too, but like i said, if she needs to get into something, she will

I'd tell her she can tell you anything. Just be honest explain that you're concerned. If she still resists give her space but observe. I'd also talk to her friends see what they say. You love with her and are her boyfriend so you have a right to know.

i understand that. she is going out with her friends again tonight. should i maybe ask them what happened? or would that make it seem like i don't trust my girlfriend to tell me what happened if she finds out which she most likely would?

It's not down to trust it's down to concern. If she gets mad stand your ground tell her it's because you were worried about her. It's worried you enough for you to ask strangers for answers so you need them yourself. Ask her again before she goes out just make her feel comfortable see if she opens up and be honest.

just remind her how sincere you are about knowing what happened. 100% honesty is one of the most important parts of relationships so if both sides ain't being honest, to me it's a red flag that the relationship will be harder than it should.

i am 100% honest with her. i don't know if she's just worried to tell me what did happen, if she actually doesn't want me to worry about it, or if it's nothing majour and i shouldn't be worrying about it
