Everyone assumes that I am a lesbian because I'm not at all girly or feminine, dress in men's clothing, and prefer activities that are mostly male oriented.
I'm not even biesexual, I'm only into domnante men.
I think "gender" needs to just die already, and let humans be humans. Gender really IS on spectrum. Gender stereotyping hurts everyone when they don't meet society's unrealistic standards of what a "man" should be, and/or what a "woman" should be.
n0... Human means Homo sapiens.& Human has 2 gender you can't run from that. but they two are nothing without each other. and Stereotype in our mind not in gender. so should change that mind not gender... s0 be happy as what we are...:-)
The constant pressure to perform (at work, at home, in bed, etc.) I feel that men are expected to do more without gratification. Somethings broken, go fix it. This is too heavy, go lift it. The garbage is full, take it out. There's a very important deadline at work, must work late to meet it. It truly never ends. I also feel like I get judged more for taking a sick day at work more than the opposite sex. Last thing would be the pressure to always perform in the bedroom. There are days when I'm just not into it but if she is then you must do it then because she dictates when it happens. Also random erections for no reason and the occasional blue balls also suck.
When you are a woman walking alone at night sounds terrifying. You have a high chance of being harassed, or mugged, or even raped. I've been stalked and followed twice when I was walking alone, I thought I was going to die. Being a man, you aren't nearly as scared.
Being strongly admonished, or is it socially enslaved into complying with society's stereotyping when it misrepresents us and gives others prejudicial expectations that neither reflect nor condone the natural personality we have for presenting and expressing the person we are. As individuals, everyone has their own way of processing their thoughts, desires, tastes, perspectives, and especially their own physical characteristics. From infancy, we tend to associate with different things and appearances that we want to be identified with and by. In dictating what it wants people to be like, society has violated our natural agency to choose as our personalities direct. On top of this, society has made non-complying with its stereotypical dictations seem as demented and/or perverted acts or actions to be socially shunned or disciplined until compliance or some type of resolution happens.
Not being able to walk around only in my shorts, like men can. Periods too, of course. And I hate it when people think that we girls are slutty if we say that we love having sex.
People not taking me seriously or thinking I don't know a subject extensively just because I'm a girl. Or undermining how good I am at something or how professional I can be.
As a single father , being assumed to be a sex predator , and / or a shit parent , for the heinous crime of being male !! More leeway is given to partnered women at my workplace , than I get , yet I work FT & am a lone parent !! Everyone treats women better than men , on average.
I don't understand the female downvotes... this is the truth , have also noticed that women in customer service roles , tend to be nicer to other women , than towards men.
Well apparently by being a white male I automatically since birth have been a racist, bigoted rapist and am the incarnation of Satan and all evil in the world according to feminists, liberals, special snowflakes and blacks on the left so yeah there's that but o well whatcha gonna do, life goes on.
This is the type of ignorant bullshit we have to deal with all the time.
and sure I could easily Asian Americans despite making up only a small part of the US population consistently do better then white men in almost all areas. And in general in the world white men are out preformed by Asians in the work place and in school.
I myself grew up in a ghetto in a former drug house alongside blacks and other races and had to fight and work hard to get to where I am today with a education and everything, I mean I had an actual adult job when I was around 10-12.
The only people who think that white male supremacy is an actual issue are the deluded, the ill informed and those who never amounted to anything themselves.
1. Getting hit in the balls. 2. Having to deal with aggressive behavior of other dudes (dudes are waaaaay more violent and aggressive than girls). 3. Parents always get me to do most chores since I'm a guy, I can carry heavy things, I can do other hard things. 4. A lot of girls get 20-30 messages a day... meanwhile I'd be getting about 10 tops (and thats at my peak!) so most dudes are more desperate, therefore setting a rep for all guys as "desperate" which lowers other guys' chances. 5. A man is usually considered as the one who should be working and not lazy.
Every time I'm out walking home or to a friend's house and the sun has gone down, girls in front of me will act really suspicious and keep looking behind them and even try to run ahead or let me in front of them as if I'm some sort of predator.
Assuming something is "manly" and that other things are "girly" and that I can't be a man if I enjoy those "childish, or girly" things. And that I must not be manly if I don't enjoy other "manly" things. i. e. I'm a brony, I write poetry, and I hate zombies/zombie games (unless it's "The Last of Us" because that game was fricken amazing).
Men tend to be infamous for many things among women, almost none of which are true for me. It sometimes makes me feel shame for being the same gender as those people disgracing and insulting the male gender. Gentle men like myself are spoken of very lightly.
I'm not really sure. I don't like the idea of being pregnant but might change my mind as i get older. Lot of people say periods but mine is 3 days and I usual just use pantyliners. rarely get cramps, so not going to say that. I don't like when guys think you are dumb if you look good. I don't like when guys assume im weak or can't play sports. I haven't faced much really bad sexism. maybe because racism is directed at me more? I like being a woman, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with guys either. I love guys, it takes both to make the world go around, like God intended, so I won't say anything bad about males or females.
our balls. no joke. you sit on them=pain you get kicked=super pain skinny jeans and you walk the wrong way=pain
and sometimes they hurt for no reason.
at least with periods its like one week a month and with child birth its like only for a certain amount of time. but with our balls, we men have a constant vulernability, day in, day out, we are never safe
Being told you can't be sensitive, being hated because of one stranger, being expected to do everything. Being told you can't go through "this" or "that" because you're a guy (I think some guys know what I'm talking about). There's a lot I can think of.
I agree so much here. We have made these cultural expectations of one gender that shape how we view gender. You can go on and on. A man can't be sensitive or sweet but has to be tough and angry. It sucks on both sides
i would saying dating is pretty hard, because people tend to want to much form people they don't know. yes I'm a woman, yes I'm single, no I'm not desperate, no i don't want you to pay for me you might get the wrong idea. just because you buy my dinner you might think I'm obligated to sleep with you or something.
3 different Periods. 1) Every day 2) Once every fortnight (5 days more specifically) 3) Once a month. Let's just say my underwear is my pad. Then there's pelvic pain as a result of the periods similar to pregnancy. Then there's the mess. The pain of having to rip off your thing stuck to your underwear (like a brazillian waxing) The inconvenience of split streaming the mess when it happens not being able to stand up and pee because of it not being able to sit down because the boys are so disgusting. Not much mans life

-Being told i have privileges when i clearly don't -Being called sexist when im winning an argument or discussion -The law mistreats men and let's women get off easy -Disgustingly high suicide rates -More homeless men even though people help out homeless women more when they make up much less of the homeless population -Harder time finding a part time job because employees are looking for practically all female employees so they aren't labelled as sexist
@Kaylyne I've tried and I don't have a gynaecologist trust me if I could do something to make it stop I would, the only thing I could think of is going to private doctors but that's way too expensive therefore I just suffer instead
@Kaylyne have you considered getting on the pill? It should be nearly impossible to bleed while you're on it (unless you take several packs in a row) and it gives you more control over when you want to have your period and for how long.
@lumos You're the second one to get me mixed up with @Louise1997 the actual opinion owner. But thank you anyway for your wonderful concern, it's so nice to know that we are at least looking out for each other. xxx
@Kaylyne oops, sorry haha. It's annoying that gag changed how the comments section worked, the opinion owner used to be renamed "opinion owner" in the comments, now it just says the username so it's easy to get people mixed up. :D
@lumos No problem at all and absolutely no need to apologise either. I've almost been caught out several times myself, but I do tend to check everything more thoroughly nowadays before I hit the "submit" button.
@Kaylyne see that's my problem, I rarely check anything before hitting submit, so I often find SOOO many errors in my posts! It's embarrassing really, I should start being more thorough :D
@nonaa87 I wonder if it's possible for you to follow and make contact with @Louise1997 to see if you can offer any help and advice for this very serious health issue she has.

you got quite some points here. especial on the stereotyping part

:-),...
That people have over-sexualized us in media to the point that things get forced upon us because others with dirty minds can't handle it.
Ex:
A mom feeding their baby in public
A teen girl wearing a shirt that reveals their shoulders and back in school.
Not gonna talk crap though cuz periods are awful, Anon.

Other then that it's wonderful being a man.
That is not true, I don't even know you and I don't think you're evil. But you can't argue that white male supremacy is an issue.
@feminista Well that's good at least.

Well I hate that I have boobs they're too big and periods are the worst it's meant to be 1 week out of 4 mines 3 weeks out of 4
Are you actually saying your periods last for three weeks?
If so, why haven't you seeked medical attention?
@Kaylyne bloody mary found...:D
@harryish What?
@Kaylyne sorry you got tagged mistakenly, it was for Louise1997. And its a healthy joke. I hope no one took it seriously.
@harryish Very well.
@Kaylyne yes they last for 3 weeks and I have seeked medical attention numerous times they just brush me off it's been four years
@Louise1997 Have you not seeked out getting a second or even a third opinion?
What about seeing your gynecologist?
@Kaylyne I've tried and I don't have a gynaecologist trust me if I could do something to make it stop I would, the only thing I could think of is going to private doctors but that's way too expensive therefore I just suffer instead
can you at least do a complete blood picture to exclude any blood disease and to make sure you are not anaemic this could be serious
@Asker This is precisely what I've been thinking.
With this amount of blood lose it could be very serious indeed.
@Kaylyne have you considered getting on the pill? It should be nearly impossible to bleed while you're on it (unless you take several packs in a row) and it gives you more control over when you want to have your period and for how long.
