This was me. I got braces as a freshman in high school and didn't get them removed till junior year. What was worse was the retainer I had to wear for a month during school. I was pretty much mute that whole month. I dont regret getting them though. I was comfortable with my teeth, and I had around 4-5 large gaps. My smile is def better after braces and no one teased me about being in high school with them. There are grown men and women who get them everyday. Im a sophomore in college now, and I still see people with braces, so I promise its not a big deal.
braces definitely aren't the greatest things to deal with but honestly some people actually look really good w them and it's not like people are going to judge you because you have braces? at least they shouldn't. and they're going to be so worth it in the end and then your confidence level will boost like ten times higher than it is now! plus it's better to get them now than later as an adult or having them senior year. :)
There's not an age for braces. I know a girl who currently has them and she's 18. But if you need them or it's recommended by a professional that you get them then you probably should. Otherwise you may possibly have more problems later in life.
I don't think anyone your age ever wants braces. But if this makes you feel better, do you know who want braces? Adults. Yup, 25-35 year olds who have non-straight teeth get braces as adults and they are EXCITED about it. And you know, their only regret is that they wished that they had them when they were younger. I understand your predicament and I don't know what your teeth look like now, but I get the feeling that you'll appreciate this in the very near run.
It's up to you, your teeth don't look bad.
If your dentist recommended braces then it is you and your parents call if you do in fact want them

Your bottom teeth look fine, the top teeth are in a war it would seem ;)
But it's not that bad. Maybe even a retainer. But braces are a pain for sure, so I've heard. Always tightening, always brushing after every meal, scraping things with them, not eating all the things you want sometimes. And how long you have to have them on as well. Nah, braces sound like a bother. But, if you want to improve the tops, it might be a good plan. They do have braces that are less noticeable or a little lighter on the teeth.
It's ok, a lot of people at my high school have them. Go for it! I wore braces too and it was worth it. They will give you a beautiful smile for college and you never know when you'll meet your love so it's better to get it done sooner rather than later so you have your beautiful smile the day you meet him😊. Any question, feel free to ask because I wore braces and I'll give you any advice. by the way your teeth look nice right now and I can only imagine how beautiful they will look in a couple years.

And yeah I don't think the two teeth would cause much problems. If you don't want braces don't get it. My tooth (one canine) is pretty messed up as well, but others seem to like it (they say it makes my smile look cute).. so I didn't get braces either.

I was offered brace for a long time but I always thought I'd look damn bad.
Fast forward to today and my teeths got a bit worst so I stilll had to get those brace.
Now that I have them it's no big deal.
I should've taken them much earlier.
It isn't as bad as you think it is. No one cares besides you. When I see peopme wear cringy outfits I look at them and think wtf is that and thats it. Its really not a big deal. The good thing is that you will have a perfect smile when its gone ✨(◕‿◕✿)✨

Braces are one of the best choices I've made. It was struggle at first but now I have nice teeth. You can always visit an orthodontist and see what they recommend. Braces aren't always necessary, there's Invisalign too.
Your teeth look fine to me but if you are wanting straighter teeth without the appearance of braces maybe you could look into other options, like invisalign?
Look into getting InvisAlign. It's clear, goes by unnoticed and you can take it out whenever you want. You can eat anything you want to boot. It's a win-win if your teeth aren't a complete mess
Wow this s truly a funny scenario. Sucks for you all I can say. But when you are older and actually dating guys you will thank your past self for getting the braces and sucking it up. God that is pretty funny tho xD
You will regret this for years to come if you don't get it over with now.
With the braces your teeth will be better so take it in now so you'll get it done sooner. Don't be sad over getting braces now because in other countries it's seen as luxury.
It feels awkward at first but you get used to them and in a year or so, you will have nice straight teeth for rest of your life.

Nope, my brother didn't want braces even though our dog jumped up and hit is chin breaking his tooth.
if you need them you should get them. it's a temporary inconvenience for long term dental health
it's completely normal to not want them. I went through that process. from my experience it wasn't pleasant and quite frankly didn't really do much.
take a brace and close your eyes and feel the pleasure, simple as that
If you're not gonna smile or be confident as much then it probably for the best that you don't get them
nobody wants em-i'd get em now, though-you DON'T wanna go through the pain i did before i was able to get mine!
