What reasons would you blatantly avoid someone for?

Basically, I had this guy friend that I got pretty close to last year and I thought that we were flirty and interested in each-other etc. but we were still close friends nonetheless.. But literally out of nowhere he suddenly starts avoiding me at practically all costs. So I'm wondering what the heck is going on? I can't provide a lot of details on the situation because there simply AREN'T any. We go from being friends one day to him casually avoiding me the next day. And then I tried asking him about it and he was like "everything's fine"... And I was like "are we still friends?" And he said "yeah.." But still avoided me.. It's just something that's been bothering me for over a year. I obviously did SOMETHING... The question is what.. He will literally go outside and around a building to avoid going down the same hallway as me.. It's literally to that level. I just really wanna know why..

Realistically, no one would be able to provide a good answer for that (most likely).. So I'm wondering what reasons would YOU avoid someone at this level?

In forth grade there was a kid named (not his real name) Bill.
Bill was the popular kid and i guess everyone knew each other in the grade school, all 120 fourth graders...
This was the year i had finally found the friends that would be my friends for over five years straight and still going fine today
But bill was growing his own group as well
I tried to talk to bill but he seemed to ignore me in our conversation
I assumed he thought i was stupid or autistic because i did bad in school and cried a lot
Bill thus had rejected every conversation i have tried to have with him
I corrected bill on his homework to help him or tell him he spelled something wrong to stop him from looking stupid in front of the whole class
He does the same to me and tell me im wrong or that im a control freak
And that is just one of the reasons why science is my least favorite classes...

And i still have an A in the class but he feels he has to judge me because i have 0.3 lower of a grade than he does

However, this guy probably took the flirts etc to heart - as most guy's do !
Therefore it is likely that this guy has feelings for you.
If he believes/thinks/knows he can't have you then he rather would avoid you than anything else.

Ahhhh well geez... That's maybe true.. but I somehow always got the feeling that he was gay and not interested in me like that.. I don't know.. we haven't talked in months.. I doubt I'll ever talk to him ever again but it's just something that I was curious about and a tiny bit hurt over.. I kinda wanna try to corner him one day just for a minute and ask about it. Seems a bit rude but it's just something I GOTTA know.. I'm just like that lol.. but hmm I'm not exactly sure if he liked me or not?

If you really want to know that's fine too I think but are you ready for an answer that could be that he likes you?
Or maybe he just woke up one day and didn't want to talk to you anymore? It Sounds weird but things like that happen.
The answer could be totally from left field but also might not be worth your wondering if you know what I mean.
Like I said , I would probably want to know so I would try to find out too.

Hmm... He was very "preppy" I guess? Always fixing his eyebrows and washing his face and trying to look really neat.. I have many gay friends so I was just picking up those kind of vibes around him.. At least him being bisexual. Which is totally cool with me! I was just curious.

Yeah.. I was suspecting that he at least had a faint interest in me for a while when reading his body language.. Which I'm really good at doing by the way.. So it was hmm

The one potential thing about this is that I WAS talking to this other guy at the time, but I doubt that it would be reason enough for him to start avoiding me? I'm not sure.. I didn't hide it or anything so it's like hmm

I would avoid someone if I just didn't get along too well with them. Sometimes I avoid people because I need my own space.

True true.. When we were talking I wasn't but now I am.. Not that he'd know that at all. And it's actually funny how much he's go out of his way to avoid me sometimes.. It hurt each and every time.. But at the same time I would really have to ask myself.. Really? That's so dramatic. There were points where he'd go so far out of his way that he's literally walk outside and around a building to avoid just walking past me in a hallway.. Even though we were heading to the same class 😂

That's a potential.. But I was new to the school so nobody really knew me.. can't really say for certain though.. but I got the notion that one of his friends really didn't like me for some reason.

if you're new then someone has FBI skills to find out bad stuff about you in your past. and they don't like you coz maybe you very pretty :) jealousy is a sickness, sweetheart. or maybe his friend likes you too and that's why he's trying to get rid of competition

Haha! Oh goodness 😂 Not sure what they'd find.. I have a dark past but nothing to hate me for? 🙊 But true.. The only guy friend that I knew of his was in a happy relationship... This one girl he seemed to be close friends with obviously didn't like me at all though.. It was obvious that she was jealous of me.. Even though she was in a relationship.. A lot of me thinks that this is somehow her fault since they both started to make fun of me later on.. Even though that girl had literally nothing to do with me. Ooh I wanted to kick her scrawny ass 😂

and also because im mostly tired of people, i mostly had lots of regrets in the end, by talking to more people and having more people in my life, But dont take this in a wrong way. you are really a nice and a interesting person to talk to, but i just avoid every kind of people now, there are some of my friends in real life, always calls me and say we should meet up, but i always make a excuse and i never meet with them, and those are really old friends of mine. like i said, its too much complicated now. there are literally more than 100 reasons behind this.

Yeah don't worry. I'm not a stranger to this cycle.. Even if I appear to be. A good way to kill the circle/cycle is to not think about it all.. Just to GO and DO it.
