THICC isn't the same thing as fat but since there's no hard definition people who are fat can be called THICC as in a sexy curvy woman. It all depends on context.

Fat and THICC aren't really interchangeable though they mean different things.

It's kind of like curvy where some people who are obviously obese call themselves curvy. THICC means the same thing as curvy.

Thick means just that. Thick. Maybe just chubby or round but it's always in a positive context. If someone calls you thick it's most likely in reference to your thighs/ass which many guys are really into (im guilty) and rarely attributed to someone who's actually fat/obese to an unhealthy extent.

Depends on whether people are into it or not.

I don't like curvy and all that, so for me "thick" basically means 'less fat' which still means unattractive. Curvy is the same thing, I generally use it negatively. But for the people who are into it; some girls like the idea that they're 'curvy' or guys like those girls, welp, that's fine. If you're into that then you can do chat up the curvy girls and leave me all the skinny ones kthx.

voluptupus, curvy and thick are all complimentary and require shape/figure.

voluptuous means great tits. curvy means shapely and thick means meaty but attractive.

as above, the problem is morbidly obese people "reclaiming" the words and using them entirely incorrectly, destroying the meaning.
