My girlfriend has such low energy compared to me?

She’s always sort of backing down after sex when I want to keep going. She doesn’t want to go out and do things as often. She’s sometimes just there but not present. It’s annoying at times when she just can’t get on my energy level and it’s like she’s constantly drained. She’s taking this birth control and this is a side effect from what i’ve read... any other girls experience this? How do I get her on my level?

She could have an undiagnosed health condition. Fibromyalgia is an invisible disease. It’s chronic pain, it drains your energy, and it can simply look like laziness or a low energy person to those who are ill informed. She could have something as simple as a vitamin deficiency or it could certainly be the birth control as you’ve stated. Some girls have really serious side effects to birth control (myself included) such as: severe weight gain, bleeding for months at a time, low libido, moodiness, lack of energy, etc

Birth control is out of control and honestly while it is a godsend for preventing unwanted pregnancy how miserable it makes the lives of some women for the sake of maintaining a sex life is hardly addressed.

Ask her? If she’s felt this way her entire life it could be medical, but if it’s fairly new I would consider switching brands or birth control methods entirely to see if that helps.

Vitamin B12 is a good start, but she should consult a doctor before starting any supplements.

well at least she doesn't flip all the time i go from having 6 orgazms to none the next day from spending 3 to 4 hours at the gym to having no desire to go the next 3 days even my coach said u were killing it dont u get tired then he was whats the matter with u why didn't u show up the last 4 days from spending 2 days out camping outside in the nature being active and doing so much but next week i just dont want to do nothing and i want to stay by myself somedays im 2 excited i litteraly wake up after an hour of sleep to live others no i dont want to i think this will drive any human insane but with the right care and understanding i will be fine
if u really love ur girlfriend and u think she have changed u talk to her maybe she is going through depressing just help her she might need u
be there for her and make her see a doc if u think her behaviour changed it could be a small thing like vitamin deficiency

Does she work out? I personally was the same until I started working out and sleeping regularly. You gotta get her in motion, and maybe have her consider an alternative birth control method that's non-hormonal.

It could possibly be her bc but it’s most likely depression from what I’ve heard. I know I was always tired and low energy when I struggled a lot with depression.

Yes and it’s bloody horrible! Got her to go and see the doctor about it. They can change it and check her bloods at the same time.
