I mean I do some adult shit like taxes and such, but just last morning, I finished work at 7 am, went to the store, got bread and crap, but also half a pie, why, because I always wanted pie for breakfast and now I’m grown up I can, so there. 😂
It just depends on your definition of "to grow up". In my opinion many men are further grown up than women. And it's always fun to see a women play pretend to be grown up, trying to hide the fact that she isn't.^^
The people who say that are attracted to guys who fit that mold. You can be subconsciously drawn to a certain type of person... i was 40 before I even had half a clue about why my SO shared certain traits with my mom.
Every strong family unit I've ever known, the man is the rock - he takes all the heat and everyone leans on him, he doesn't buckle under pressure and makes everyone feel stronger because of his strength of mind. doesn't sound too immature to me!
I actually feel like men mature and even outgrow women in some ways and about some things that women should've learned a long time ago. Seems to be the older I get the more I see this.
Nah I disagree, while scientifically proven women mature faster than men, it doesn't mean they have stopped maturing. Just some are still immature, just like some women are
Naw, I don't think that's quite accurate. I think they grow up, they just feel like it's their prerogative to act a certain way because they perceive themselves as more mature in the first place.
Lmao, I just wanna point out that most men are deemed as "emotionally stable" because they never sort them out or talk about them. I don't think most of this generation are emotionally stable (females or males)... they seem to resort to some sort of substance abuse to numb their feelings and ignore it. I don't really see many people are that emotionally stable, they always end up having too many things hidden under their surface and their subconscious makes them lash out at small trivial things
@virginbish men tend to deal with their emotions well and are rational about them, they solve their issues on the spot. Personally I'm very emotionally stable and make rational decisions when something bad is going down. Testosterone boosts motivation and mental healthy. In a society today which discriminates against males it's obvious to see that men now are becoming less confident and are doubting themselves because of it.
As a male I can fully say I'm am very emotionally stable, nothing gets in my way even if they do, sure they can be hard but I'll find solutions to fix the issues and shrug them off and live life positively. I'm not petty.
I don't disagree that you may be emotionally stable, but from my experience at my age, it's really hard to find. Usually a guy personifies being cool headed and stable, but deep down they have so many issues they haven't resolved and it's very overwhelming. They tend to channel their insecurities at their partners when in a relationship as well, only to make that person feel worse about themselves.
And tbh, I have started to see that society is starting to give guys a harder time about certain things, and I have seen them doubting themselves more... but tbh, girls have been facing that for many generations.
And I've never heard of testosterone boosting mental health. I don't think I've ever heard of sex hormones having a huge effect on the brain's development
@virginbish I completely see where you're coming from and don't disagree. I think it's a shame guys act that way and inflict their insecurities on their S. O. I feel like it may be due to many factors, society, media, not having a father figure growing up to teach them how to be a man. Testosterone boosts positive moods via energy and high libido.
"Girls have been facing that for many generations" true but biologically men and women are totally different and handle situations differently the topic of subjective.
Growing up and becoming an adult is important and necessary, but I believe its equally important to keep your inner child to enjoy life to the fullest 😎
if this were true i think it would be the same for females, and trust me I've been best friends with a guy since we were super young he has grown up sooooo much so this is not true.

You're not grown up unless you can also have chips for lunch. :p
@hasrett guess what im having rn? XD
Lmao! :'D

We can't generalize all men. I'm fortunate to have mature men in my life with youthful charms.
The exact same thing can be said for women who seek validation and reward for completing mundane tasks expected of adults, such as learning to cook.
The #adulting handle is a perfect example of this.

The same can be applied to women too lol with their pettiness and crying but that's biolog.
Men will be boys, like to fuck around and have fun. But are emotionally stable as opposed to women but less mature

It's very good that you aren't petty. It's very hard to find people like that (female or male)

i agree that some people never truly grow up. i would draw this on a gender line but an individual by individual basis
That's really rude. It puts all men into one stereotype. Kinda like saying women are only good for cleaning the house and cooking.
Growing up and becoming an adult is important and necessary, but I believe its equally important to keep your inner child to enjoy life to the fullest 😎
Yes, but the same go for women.
The thing is, when you lose that inner child, the need to play, the curiosity... Life just isn't good anymore.
if this were true i think it would be the same for females, and trust me I've been best friends with a guy since we were super young he has grown up sooooo much so this is not true.
I'm a big kid now lol.
Seriously though, I make adult decisions, but I'm not gonna let the kid in me die. Kids have life figured out, they just forget because life happens.
Deaddd. Never heard this before but I'll be using it😂
Trust me dont use it.
Yeah, that's why they need a good woman to lead them.
No, some don’t ever grow up. But there are definitely boys that will turn into men and become good people. But not all of them
Partly agree. They need to experience a bad thing or sth like that they can mature. But it is also about character.
