Is 6'6 (200cm) too tall for a 16 year old girl?

Hi!
So as you can tell, I'm 6'6. I do play basketball but I'm still the tallest on the team and not good enough to play competitively. At school the tallest guy is 6'3. I'm in the UK and all my family are from here.

Am I too tall? Guys never seem to want to date me as I tower over them. Also, with friends I am much taller than them and most are boob height. It's really annoying people asking to compare heights etc.

So... am I too tall for guys?
How do I fit in more with my friends all being a foot shorter or more?

I have a friend who is 6'4 and she also towers over her female friends. I walk around with her a lot (I'm 5'11), so I am not personally bothered by the fact she is quite a bit taller than me. Most guys will want to be taller than you, but focus on meeting guys who share similar interests and will appreciate you for being something more than really tall.
I wouldn't say you're too tall for guys, but they have to be open to you being taller and have the right personality to deal with what will inevitably be the occasional jokes and comments. They also have to know that you're open to dating a guy who is shorter than you, and may simply assume you're not. If they assume you aren't, they won't even bother approaching you.

If I were a classmate of yours, I'd definitely be interested in getting to know you, but i also love basketball. Meeting someone is often a really random thing, so don't think you're too tall to get a boyfriend.

Hey there :) first of all, you are not too tall for guys! You just gotta find the right one :)
It’s true that most guys prefer a partner that it’s shorter. However a lot of guys don’t mind if the girl is taller. The only problem is actually in our society, because people will look a lot at you and your partner if he is shorter. So the guy has to be confident enough to find this unimportant :)
I personally like girls taller than me. You girls are hard to find ;) and very special.

You just have to find guys who like to be shorter than their woman. If you get a really short guy... he is already used to average height women towering over him in heels anyway. That may be the way to go because tall guys aren't used to it so most may not like it. If you can find a tall guy who wants something different this will be ok too.

im 6'0" and i feel the same way since most guys are slightly taller and go crazy for the shorties. but dont worry about guys , you are 16 ! have fun , play your sports , live your life and eventually you will find your perfect guy.

believe me i get it. all my friends are 5'0"-5'3" and it bothers me sometimes when i can't see them or hear them properly haha or even getting bullied over my height sometimes but you know what , we are who we are and our height is awesome! i bet you are the best in your team.

I mean wow I might not have ever seen a girl as tall as you where I'm from. Personally I'm 5'7" and the girl being shorter than me is kind of a dealbreaker if she's taller. I dont really know what it is.

If you look up the same question on here there seems to be a lot of other people guys and girls who can't get dates cause they're so tall.

I would say there is essentially two types of guys you could find out there. The extremely tall guy who is between 6'4 and 7'0 or a shorter guy who does not care about height at all. I know there's definitely someone out there for you, but I wouldn't worry because the sample size of guys is so small in high school. Also high school relationships can be nice to have but they don't mean anything in 10 years (usually.) Hope this helps. Also if you do find a super tall guy and you have kids there's definitely a chance you could produce some pro ballers lol.

Too tall? Girl you're the height you're born with, be lucky you can see the world from another perspective. And as for too tall for a guy? Absolutely not. You may find it hard to be in a relationship with someone much shorter but that doesn't stop anything from working

Yeah you're tall. Basically you're put in the category where you physically "weird" as how shallow people would put it, being with fat, weird and ugly people together. But it's fine. Why? By the numbers yes because I'm gonna assume you want someone at least close to your height which is very rare. I'm 6'0 and wouldn't mind dating a taller girl since I kind of have a thing for it but a lot of guys would be too intimidated and generally want shorter.

1 and a half feet difference IS a huge difference.
It would look odd. He would be hardly reaching up to your upper belly or lower chest at the max.
