I say relationship break ups because a person puts they all or give most of what they can, even personal things than with a friendship break up where only half of you is being shared although time is still spent with and private info.
One way or another, your partner is your friend too. So if you break up with your friend, you not only lose your lover, but also a friend whom you counted on before
Regrets are more painful. Choose one and believe its the right choice. You get over about everything else

The reason why I say friendship is because, you had that bond with that person and all those memories are so precious. Yeah you can say th same thing about a relationship but if you break up with someone then there’s always someone else you can go to. I feel like you can’t replace some so dear to your heart, such as a friend, especially for more than 5 years
I believe that friendship breakup is harder because if you want to get out of a relationship it's because you're not happy there A lot of times you end up happier after you get out of the relationship
Friendship brake up can be mended back together, when it comes to relationships this is more rare. But I think relationship break ups hurt more, those I've cried after, friendship brake up were just anger mostly.
Both are honestly painful but it also depends i could be friends with someone for 6-8 years that would of course effect me hard but if I'm dating someone for 2-3 years it probably won't effect me as hard.

In my experience, friendship breakups stay with you for a long time, but relationship breakups hurt more
If you did a relationship right, then it counts as a friendship breakup too, so it's potentially doubly painful
Friendship break ups are harder, lovers come and go but for the most part my friends have always been there.
Both hurt
But I think relationship breakups hurt the most
Esp if you were deeply and madly in love with that person

People who haven't gone through a painful relationship break up can't just vote like that. You have no idea 😔
I chose relationship because those tend to get more intimate more quickly, thus making it harder to separate

It depends on how long you've been friends and how close we were.
Both are awful but I'd say relationships as if there real they are friendships also.
In my experience relationship break-ups have hurt me far more emotionally than a friend saying he doesn't want to hang out anymore.
Relationship. More emotional, more things lost, for me.
They're both heartbreaking. You usually have more to lose in a relationship break up though.
Friends? I don't know, but I don't consider anyone a "friend." I've had too many of those try to run me over with their car and steal my man.
Both are honestly painful but it also depends i could be friends with someone for 6-8 years that would of course effect me hard but if I'm dating someone for 2-3 years it probably won't effect me as hard.
I'd say that the pain in a friendship breakup is smaller but lasts longer.
depends i have 2 friends i've known for 13 years and if i'd have to choose between my relationship and them it wouldn't even be a choice
