Would you rather sleep in a room with a dim light on or in complete darkness?

I prefer complete darkness. I literally put things over the little power lights on TVs, monitors, speakers, etc. I can't sleep with light in the room. I even put my phone face-down.

Either way. I just put some dim light on the floor. I might trip on something but If it's complete darkness, I can sleep in no time. I can't even tell if I'm closing my eyes or not.

Prefer dim light. It doesn't happen, but sometimes if I wake up in the middle of the night, I'll panic if it's totally dark in my room. It's kind of disorienting I guess

If my man is home I will sleep in the dark but when he's gone I sleep with my himalayan salt lamp on or I keep my tv on. I'm scared to sleep alone in total darkness:(

I can sleep with the lights off in my own room because I know exactly where stuff is lying around but in an unfamiliar room I need at least one little dim source of light for my eyes to adjust.

complete darkness. however that's quite impossible at my current location, cause a street light shines directly into my room and i have like huge windows. hard to find something that blocks that light :/

Dim lights would be my preference.. In case someone comes to kill me.. At least I don't wake up to darkness and hence can fight off..
