This is exactly why I don't like to sleep outside of home. The last hotel I stayed at had a damn nightlight built into the GFCI in the bathroom. I had to shut the door to the bathroom to sleep. Then there is the issue with the light shinning under the door. I usually use an extra towel and place it in front of the door.

I sleep in darkness, although my radio has a light from the clock showing and I often have my satisfyer charging, where it gives off a red light.
So not complete darkness.

Darkness I had to give a tv away had a red light. No clock. My iPad has a clock. And alarm.

darkness and I STILL wear a nightpad over my eyes
