And don't bring children into this. They are CHILDREN, not grown ass women with fully developed personality and independence. Suggesting that the relation between men and women is the same as between men and children is an insult to women.

So. If the result is an injury of the same severity, or if the same pain is experienced, what is the difference? Children aside.

I didn't mean to equate women to children. My point is that women, on average, are substantially weaker than men. That is not to say that there is never a reason to attack them, especially in self defence, but that, as a man, it's easier to not do it than to do it since they can't do comparably as much back at you.

But I get what you're trying to ask. And in my opinion the technical answer is that there is no difference. Or at least shouldn't be since we're all equal and shiz. But, practically speaking, there is a difference.

It's not the same, men and women do not have the same pain tolerance, bone density, skin thickness, muscle and fat, etc.
We're also completely different in our genetic disposition and upbringings when it comes to violence. So women aren't expected to fight and learn to take hits and defend themselves, men are.

That's circular reasoning.
Is grooming generations of people for slavery, having them born as slaves and die as slaves, REALLY better, than enslaving a person who grew up in freedom, just because the free person knows the difference?

Also, with the same logic you could justify putting pressure on women to be the ones to take care of children, clean, cook, and not engage in competitive environments.
You could justify holding women down, because they grew up with those expectations, and are therefore better conditioned for it than men.

You understand "circular reasoning" has to go in a circle right? And yes, repeated generations are obviously better than new introductions, it's confusing why you would even question that.

And yes you could, because they are better at taking care of children and statistically worse in competitive environments. I wouldn't consider it "holding women down" to encourage them to use the skills they're equip for anymore than encouraging a good singer to start a band is holding them down.
