Bruised or blood under my nail after heavy object dropped on it?

It’s been about a month since a heavy object fell on my foot & I've got subungual hematoma, where the under one of my nails is bloody or bruised, its been the exact same ever since, blood hasn’t decreased or anything, is there anyway I could get the blood out or anything to reduce it as I am someone who constantly shows my toes and i don’t really like the look of one of my nails being half black

well, you can go in from above, or from the front, but every time I've had a blood blister I just pop them with a pin. I had one under a nail like you're describing. I just grabbed a stapler, took a deep breath, and punched it through the nail. It hurt a little, more shocking to see than painful.

Otherwise you can push a pin under the nail to relieve the pressure, but you have more risk of losing the nail if you already injured it. The initial shock of the staple going through is going to sting, I won't lie, and pulling it back out... so aim well and don't hesitate when you hit it.

Or you could just wait for your body to break it down, use a heating pad and elevation to try and increase the bloodflow since your feet get the least.

I think it was 3 - 4 years ago I smashed my thumb in the tail gate of a truck. It was swollen with blood in it for a long time. Something that worked to relieve pressure was to gently stab a heated needle to the nail to let some trapped blood out. There's still a scar on my thumb where the nail doesn't grow.

I dropped a piece of marble on my big toe one time when i was a little kid. I too developed a bruise under my toe nail. Over time it will be pushed out by your nail as it grows. And disappear. It will take time but you can not remove it. You can cover it by painting your toenail but it will stay for a few weeks.

Same for me. I also had my skin puff up and caused damage to my mail about a year ago. It's just now almost grown out. Nail polish for sure if you're self-conscious about it.
Also, if there's. Lot of pressure, you could poke a hole in your nail, but be careful.

Any time I have done similar, the blood clot travelled out with the nail as the nail grew. Takes months.

Well if you did not damage the back if the nsil a new nail will grow under a push the old nail off your foot
