Boy. Less stress. I only say this from experience baby sitting.
Opposite for me. Boys were harder when under age 12. Girls were harder 12+
Totally has to do with the personality of the child. Boy or girl, Either can be difficult. Age doesn't matter either.
Teens in general are nightmares from hell. I feel boys under 12 are messier and physically harder to keep track of so they dont get hurt. Girls are finickier and are harder to understand or keep happy.
I'm okay with either. Be it a boy or a girl I'd be equally happy and I'd provide the same amount of love.
I am ok with any gender but I need to be able to stand up on my feet also I don't feel like it's always necessary to have a kid
Hmm honestly either is great. I just hope they like to tinker and such like I do.
Lol reminds me of sims 3 traits
Haven't played it. But I do fix things often. It's a handy skill I'd like to expand upon.
@DizzyDesii Do you do the self-cleaning or the unbreakable upgrades? lol
@Yads_Is_Back lmao yes 😂 i dont even let my sims sleep. I use that little handheld machine that keeps them in a good mood
Is that an add-on? Because I don't know of it
@Yads_Is_Back im trying tonfind it. Its on sims 3 pc. You hold it, press a button and it cures all their needs so that rheyre not sleepy/hungry/sad/etc
I found it! Its the moodlet manager on Sims 3
![HONESTLY, do you PREFER to have a GIRL OR BOY as your FIRST CHILD? And why?]()
![HONESTLY, do you PREFER to have a GIRL OR BOY as your FIRST CHILD? And why?]()
You can zap people you dont like to make them hungry/mad/bad bladder etc and you can cure yourself. You can use it unlimited number of times daily. I use it on my sims when they get sleepy so that they never have to sleep
lmao wow thats nice!
I want one of each, but may adopt another down the line.
I said the same :)
I noticed 😁
I’d prefer the first kid be headed to college before i adopt the other
I'm not sure about that. My siblings and I are very close in age and we did well.
Well i do prefer close in age as well but im saying if i have 2 girls and i turn 30 years old then i’d wait til one kid went off to college before i would try to afford to adopt a 3rd kid (a boy)
Well, at least you have a plan
Probably boy to take care of his mom and siblings in case something happens to me.
Aww i understand
I would be ecstatic to have a boy or a girl! As long as they're healthy!
I feel ya
😉😎👍
Girl then boy. She (and my wife) will help him understand the intricacies of treating women correctly (obviously I can help too but who better to give him the deeper understanding than his big sister)
I really think men who have older sisters turn out better also. I like my brother, but I would've been a better first born. My ex husband had two older sisters and I think it's why he liked women. Had a great mother too. My dad had a wonderful 2 year older sister and it was like they were twins. They did things together until the day my dad died at 87. It was such a blow to her. I'm very close to my cousins from that side of the family. On my mom's side, she was oldest, there were two girls. This is a competition dynamic, males or females. I got that from my mom as my dad chased after her younger sister before deciding to marry her... They were a year apart. Both sisters made very good, appropriate marriages and had two and three children. The boys from my aunt's family had an older sister and turned out to be really great guys. Mellow, funny. Cousin was a strong woman who chose a strong man and had BOY AND GIRL... Other two boys had one girl each! I think this stuff is fascinating. I've had a boy. My brother wanted to repopulate the planet with boys and one girl. Four total.
You really have the baby blues, are you ready for that life
I've been ready for almost a decade
You are ready for the FANTASY of parenting. No 15 year old has a clue what carrying and having and taking care of the needs of an infant and toddler then child and teen is about. You see friends' or family's babies and they're clean and cute. The reality of having a child upends your life and requires you to have a lifelong connection to someone you brought into the world. You are responsible for helping and educating and emotionally supporting that child for the rest of your natural life. It is a HUGE step. It's not like taking care of little brothers or cousins. The buck stops with you and your husband or partner. And you need to find the best partner available too. ANOTHER big job. Have a good job, some money in the bank, a home, a car, good childcare, schools nearby, good health insurance. Forget the baby fever and have a cold, hard look at what it takes. Lots of your time and energy. Lots of your freedom. You will not see payoff for decades. My son is near 25 and I'm just seeing that investment paid back. It's a long game. If you can last, it can be fantastic. You'll get funny snippets while they're growing up. But it'll just be bits and pieces. It's more like slaving in the mines looking for diamonds... Takes a long time to polish them up.
@Screenwriter im 25 and its not just a fantasy but thanks
25 is still young. have you done all you want to do with your life? Gotten your education, your dream job, a home? If you've done all those things, perhaps you are ready to settle down, because once you have kids, unless you're rich, kids pretty much keep you in place. You have to plan financially for child care. It's expensive. If you've done all those things, you can have at it.
and be in an emotional and financial good place. Be satisfied.. I mean. If you haven't, having kids and achieving those goals will be doubly hard. Doable, but far more difficult.
@Screenwriter i graduated college in 2017. I dont let a dream home and dream job stop me from building a family. As long as i have savings and stable income and shelter, im good. Thanks for your concern. Goodnight
Yes, you do sound ready. Good luck.
I don't care. But if I ever get to have kids I hope to have at least one boy.
Yea every guy needs at least son and every mother needs at least one daughter
if i accidently walk in on em its not as weird lmao
Huhh
A girl. Coz she has more chances of being like her mother. I don't want to pass on shitty genes😜
Awww
I would like to have a boy so he could protect his little sister. When I’m not around her.
Thats sweet
Too bad I’m single.
I wanted a boy first and that’s what I had.
Aww :)
I like the I don't want kids pic 😂😂
Loll
You wanted 12 by the time you turned 30?
Lmao yes 😂 i was gonna start at 21. I was hoping some were twins
I don't really care, either is fine.
Okay
A girl. She can help with the younger siblings
I want a girl first too but not for that reason haha. Im the oldest of my siblings tho too
My oldest is a girl. She LOVES to be the "backup Mama"
Girl because they’re supposedly more laid back
Lol REALLY. I never heard that one before 😂 the girl is usually more complicated minus the potty training
My little brother has me traumatized lol so im pretty scared about having a boy
they're probly just as nuts, but more variant between... being afraid of nothing and afraid of their own shadow
Children are the last things on my mind
I would like a boy first
NICE
A boy. To protect his sister 💕
Thats sweet
I don't mind a boy or a girl.
Gender fluid so I don't have to try again.
I don't know. I would adopt
A boy. So he can be a protective older brother.
Thats sweet
Didn’t matter, I ended up getting 4 girls
Lol adopt a boy
Men determine the sex of their children. You wanted those girls... Only YOU can know why... Maybe you thought,, I can make beautiful, smart, competent women. And so you did...
Nah I have 2 stepsons from there mother before she met me
@Screenwriter I guess, lol, 3 of them are triplets
A girl. Female babies are just so sweet and fun!
Lol they can be fiesty too
I got a girl first, second, third, and fourth...
Oh wow lmao
Yes and we are all very close There is only 5.5years between them all the last two were that close they were nearly twins in the way they grew up.
Boy, preferably then maybe a girl
Opposite for me lol
I have a niece, i dealt with her high pitched screams when she was a Toddler... ouch. I'm good on that for a while
😂😂😂
I would like a girl first and a girl second.
😍😍🙌
I want a girl. Girls as daughters are the best.
Haha true
Don't care, as long as healthy.
I voted A
why?
@LEADFOOTboi I miss my baby girl. Her name would’ve been Sophia. Greek for wisdom.
@Penelope_
@Lexyissexy23
sorry to hear...
@LEADFOOTboi thanks
Sorry lexy can't come to the phone rn but #ripSophia
sadly, lexi prolly to busy with her... feet posts
@LEADFOOTboi oh no i meant cause she's blocked 🤷♀️
@DizzyDesii thank you. That means a lot.
I would a healthy child
I want 2 kids. Girl then boy.
Same!
I want 3 boys 😍
Nice! I want 2 girls and 1 boy
He'll be outnumbered :P
males are always outnumbered... it's just how it works
@LEADFOOTboi how so?
womens have a lot of power in family disputes no matter how small... they'll send yo ass to the doghouse in a wink
@LEADFOOTboi how did this become a men vs women discussion?
everything is a men vs women discussion... you said it first
@LEADFOOTboi I was joking. You think I meant that as a good thing or that I was glad that the completely hypothetical boy would be hypothetically outnumbered by his hypothetical sisters?
you were just spittin truth... that's all
@LEADFOOTboi I don't spit. I swallow.
🤣😂🤣
well... im glad that's out of the way... i was beginning to think i was gonna have to... FRIENDZONE you...
@LEADFOOTboi would you really friendzone me though?
certain things... wouldn't make me hesitate to... FRIENDZONE you or any woman
@LEADFOOTboi like what things?
welll... i could start with... the act of being a blob
@LEADFOOTboi... A blob?
yup a blob... they have nothing going on up there
@LEADFOOTboi oh
another thing is... being a single mom
@LEADFOOTboi what's wrong with being a single mum?
what isn't? they mismanaged they booty... they probly gonna do it again... alpha seed, beta need... i don't need to be part of that cycle... would have to be a pretty amazing woman to be worth that
@LEADFOOTboi oh dayum. And just like that, we aren't gonna get along
why not? i realize that was a little harsh... just a little... life is full of harsh truths
It doesn't matter. Either gender is good for me.
Either way it's fine, but I want a girl first.
I would love either one❤️
Dosent matter to me
Neither lol
No kidlets for me !
A boy
Aww :)
Yep lol
Either would do 😍
