Girls, for what reasons would you prefer having a son over a daughter?

Honeslty I don't care if I have a son or a daughter, if I have a daughter then I could dress her in cute clothed and do cute hairstyle on her so it's good. With a son I'm not so sure how I could bond with him while still making him into a "real man", I would surely be too soft on my child to be honest.

True but he need to be a strict father then so the boys can grew up with a strong role model.

I'd say more strong than strict. He definitely needs to be tough at times but being too rigid can backfire. As for a mother bonding with her son there's always more intellectual activities like reading or board games etc

I guess a mix of both is good, my father was pretty strict and I think it's important to have clear rules and stick to them.
Reading is done alone though? I'm not a big fan of board games, theyre a bit annoying, I really love going on a walk but if not most activity I like are feminine one so

Reading to children before they can fully do it alone and even after is good. That's what my mom did. Also parents tend to adapt to their children's interests it seems and end up enjoying them in a certain way
