Primitive plants like this Psilotum nudum once we're very popular in Japanese gardens. Grasses are believed to have evolved around the same time as the dinosaurs, however they may have still existed with other vascular plants and evolved their own lineages, but they probably don't forms fossils very well.

So the question is if I "could" do it... That means I don't have to do it! So I'll leave the grass. Otherwise many animals have nothing to eat. And the world would look stupid without grass.

  @Rox95 thats interesting thanks... in the spirit of sharing information i will point you to the question i asked ages ago where i showed that in siberia its trees that are the problem though and grass would be a far better alternative and when you consider siberia has 11 percent of the worlds forrest and 25 percent of its perma frost you might see that it always depends on geography too...
