Wouldn't it still be animal cruelty if someone shoots pitbulls to death for thrills?

Wow, this upsets me.. I fostered dogs and have always had puppers of all kinds in my life, what I discovered - a Pitbull is a bad dog if he/she has a bad owner. A Pitbull raised well is an AMAZING pet.
Chihuahuas though. Now those things are evil!
Hell yeah. Mean little shits.
Pitbulls with good owners have been surprised when their children or a relative has been killed.
It's not about the owner. It's about the dog.
@coffeewithcream You basing your opinion on what the media says or personal experience?
Oh, my. Gotta be an American asking this.
That darned media. Donald Trump warns about them, writing about facts and publishing them.
The facts are out there, Marilynjuana. Wave away your clouds of mj smoke and do a little research and you'll find breakdowns of dog attacks by breed and dog type. Pit bulls are consistently at the top of the list. It's not even close.
@coffeewithcream As I stated, been around the block. Pitbulls have personality, they’re descendants to dogs who were bred to fight. Hence they need a disciplined strict owner. A pitbull raised well is a wonderful dog. People are the incompetent ones.
Also, I’m from the Baltics, sugarplum :3
Oh and don’t judge my addiction, cuts me deep man.
No. That's a falsehood.
Alright, Einstein! I bet you know best :)
If you shoot animals for fun you deserve to die by one. Cause thats wasteful of a life that was allowed to survive. Fear is maybe allowed humanity to get to where it is but to live by it is a cowards life.
People who harm dogs are in the worst category of scum alongside child predators and rapists. They all deserve to be shot.

That is Cruelty. If the Dog was attacking, as in, the Dog shot out of Defense of the attack-ee, that would be justified. If it's out of desire... That's cruelty. NOW: There are exceptions! If there's an animal or breed going HAYWIRE, as in Overpopulation, Danger of crops or people, (Rabbits, Crows, and vermin) Those can be shot to a smaller Population scale. Game animals doesn't count either. (As long as it's in Season)
yes it is still animal cruelty. in fact it is an actual crime. it also is an indicator of sociopathic behaviour and a possible indicator of a future serial killer.
I would personally recommend Executing the rabid Human Animal that shot the Dog. I have two Pittbull/Boxer Dogs they literally are the most loyal, lovable pet's I have ever had besides my pure Pittbull Smokey
Yeah it's animal cruelty I mean the guy shot someones pet for the thrill of it, how fucked up is that?
All the pitbulls I've been around have been very playful. Just like any other dog. Literally. They are just really really strong.
... and unexpectedly eat children.
@coffeewithcream Never heard not seen that.

He should have to be used for police dog training for the rest of his life (but get no protective gear).
Shooting any animal for thrills is disgusting and cruel.
To me, this sounds unchristian. Christianity teaches that nothing is wrong with eating meat or killing an animal to defend a human life if the animal attacks, but that everything is wrong with killing an animal for sport or just for thrills.
Yes, it's still animal cruelty. Pit Bulls should be outlawed and removed from the planet because they are very dangerous, but that should be accomplished by outlawing the breeding of pit bulls, not by killing them.
It's like an event taking place in the United States.
With all those guns they gotta shoot something.
Yes, and it's illegal.
Personally I would execute the Owner
Sounds like someone who's retarded
Yes. It is still animal cruelty.
Of course.
Of course it would
