I'm mostly indifferent. I don't feel one way or the other until I try and do something athletic and then I'm reminded I'm on the decline. Bum shoulder, can't run as fast, can't jump as high, joints get sore afterwards. Lol Outside of that I still feel young.
Ooh, don't tell me that! Yeah there are definitely days when I'm exercising I feel age trying to slow me down but I refuse to go down without a fight dang it!!! I know I can't fight it forever, but I'm going to exercise and go hard as long as I am able to- and have icyhot to soak my joints in
I turned 50 this year, during the lock down, and I'm not really concerned. It seems quite old but it's really not. I think the key is to accept the age you are. Actually, I didn't really like being young, 30s were stressful but now I've grown into myself. My body is still strong. 20s might have been more fun if I was as together as I am now. You don't feel different just because you're a certain age. It's more about where you head is at.
Old question but I like it ! I am bitter sweet towards it. I mean I would say I want to stay in 20’s forever but I am male and I have a baby face making me look 18 at almost 27 years old. just finally are people starting to guess 19-20
So yea I want to stay forever young so every year I feel a little sad about getting older but it’s another year closer to looking like an adult (I HOPE)
I also battle with the scary thought of time slipping away though. I mean time really does fly and thinking back on such awesome memories feels great but then it’s scary because you realize you’ll never relive those times. They only exist due to memory.. it’s scary. Like seeing your parents age? That alone scares me. I don’t know, I’m not emotionally stage when it comes to time. I enjoy a lot of things in life, I look forward to a lot of things as well.. but hell at not even 30 years old there are some points in time I really miss. This is a loaded question lol
Mentally I feel good 😉... physically I feel some pain but not too bad.. birthday an excuse to enjoy a nice meal or treat myself... other than that it’s just a number
I don't look at birthdays as age because. I will never act my age. What ever that means I look at birthdays. As birthday cakes how many cakes have I had lol
It makes me feel happy (on the days leading up to my birthday) I turn 21 in a couple of days soo 😊 & ig a bit odd at times since i have a few friends a year or 2 younger than me
Happy birthday. The birthdays have faded in their appeal these days, but still nice to celebrate them. Glad you feel good at 35, 40 will sting a bit :)
I enjoy my birthday because it's all about me that day. But it's the worst feeling ever. When I turned 17, I felt so old and how did time flied. June, I turned 21 and I hate it I feel like I'm so old now and depressed because I wanted to be a big celebrity but then I realised I didn't had BRAINS when I was a teen. I hate myself for that. I wanna be 15 again. I'm too stupid and immature for this cunning world.
Getting older makes me anxious about my own expectations that I had 10 years ago so I don't like to count anymore. And I'm not the kind of people who love their birthday, it's a regular day for me. Happy birthday for you, it's nice that you're satisfied with how thing are. Enjoy your day
Well lucky for us both, we're still in our 30s, so we hopefully have a long way to go until we have to start worrying about our mortality and what's to come after we're gone.
I hope you wind up as happy and relaxed as I am :) I know it doesn't seem like it now, but I'll let you in on a secret: once you get to your 30s, life usually gets MUCH easier. Mostly because you should be stable and have a grasp on your life by then.
I have to say that because you're only a year younger than I am, otherwise that makes me old too, LOL. It's like they say: you're only as old as you feel. You should feel happy and energetic having kids to keep you going!
Happy birthday🎂 mine is in 28 days , I feel fine and go bicycle riding on the weekends for 15 miles but every birthday feels like another day and don’t really do anything I just wonder where have the years gone and how many more I have left
Woot, happy early birthday to you as well! :) Wow, you cycle 15 miles every weekend? That is awesome! I could never get into biking that much. Now running? Absolutely, haha.
I hope you live many more years and enjoy each day to the fullest~
Really? You're still young (Yes really, you are). You still have plenty of time to accomplish things you want to! You need to sit down, think about what you want to accomplish, even make a list if you want, and figure out how to attain it.
My life has been on hold for some years now. Many failed relationships so still single, I'm doing a degree but don't know what I'm going to do with it. I know I want to move out before I'm 30 (I'll be buying a house on my own so it's expensive) but that's about it. I have health conditions that get in the way of what I can do/achieve a little too.
It really is just a number- I'm so glad I'm not the only one that feels that way! I used to stress over my birthday when I was in my 20s- mostly what my future would hold, but now? I'm just living my life and trying to enjoy it :)
Each birthday is one less that I have to do. One less tax return, one less property taxes and insurance, one less putting those stupid stickers on my license plate, one less holiday’s blah, one less clean the leaves, and one less shedding my skin.

happy birthday 🎈🎉 🎂!!
The important thing is you're still alive and kicking!
And yeah, I try to treat myself to something nice on my birthday as well, even if it's something simple. It makes me feel better about myself.
And thank you for the birthday wishes!!! :)
I don't look at birthdays as age because. I will never act my age. What ever that means I look at birthdays. As birthday cakes how many cakes have I had lol
Haha, you sound like a big kid that will never grow up- that's a good thing!

Happy early birthday! 21 is a awesome milestone: that's when you really feel like an adult, or at least I did, haha
Thank youu!! and yes I will make sure to enjoy it that's forsure cx

Thank you~
Ooh, don't tell me that! Now I'm not looking forward to my 40s, haha
Ha ha you know me, always dishing the blunt truth.

I just think of birthdays as a celebration of my existence and try not to think of mortality.
I think when I start to approach my 70s I'll get scared though. I've never been at peace with mortality and I don't believe in an afterlife.
Well lucky for us both, we're still in our 30s, so we hopefully have a long way to go until we have to start worrying about our mortality and what's to come after we're gone.
No kidding :P
Oh and happy birthday. I was too focused on answering the question and just forgot.
I don't enjoy birthdays, but i do wonder where I'll be when I'm 35 years old. Will i be as happy as you?
I hope you wind up as happy and relaxed as I am :)
I know it doesn't seem like it now, but I'll let you in on a secret: once you get to your 30s, life usually gets MUCH easier. Mostly because you should be stable and have a grasp on your life by then.
Thank you for the kind secret 😊😊 i wish you the happiest birthday
a Happy Birthday to you a happy birthday to you ! every day of the year , may you find Jesus near and the best year you've ever had ! thanks
Thank you Miss Dawn! :)
So far being 35 has been great!
Happy, and sad at the same time. I am shocked at how I got here. Time flies. I feel old. I look at my kids, and wow am i old.
Oh you are not that old!
I have to say that because you're only a year younger than I am, otherwise that makes me old too, LOL. It's like they say: you're only as old as you feel. You should feel happy and energetic having kids to keep you going!
The 40 mother fucking year old virgin I'm 32 coming up... Loll.. Oh well. I don't even care anymore at this point.
I shouldn't have laughed at your comment but it really did make me chuckle- your username doesn't help either, LOL
Runs out of the room crying... Stip making... Fun of meee... 😭😭😭🤪😡😡😡😏🥰

Thanks, I take the bike path to the beach, best way to go because it’s too crowded to park and they close it off to vehicles when full
I feel worse tbh. Time is flying by too quick and I don't have much to show for it.

It's still just a number, and when U was your age I never thought anything of it. I've never felt old.
It really is just a number- I'm so glad I'm not the only one that feels that way! I used to stress over my birthday when I was in my 20s- mostly what my future would hold, but now? I'm just living my life and trying to enjoy it :)
Thats the right approach.
I'm still in the part of my life where the older I get, the more opportunities open up :)
Awesome! And you'll only experience more as you get older: keep it up!
miseralbe. i feel like there is much i wanted to do. One big regret is not having kids
I'm sorry to hear that! Do you ever wish you could go back and have kids or change other aspects of your life from when you were younger?
Can't guys have kids at any age tho
