What should I wear to his place? advice!!

so I am going over this guys house and this will be our first time meeting. I was thinking of wearing a dress but is that too much for just going over his house? what do you think I should wear? thanks

i've been talking to him for about 3 months now through skype, text, and phone. he dosen't have money to take me out right now and he was going to come to my place put he asked could I come since he has football practice. I told him I would come back the same night and he was like I don't have to come if I don't feel comfortable staying the night because it is an hour drive just to stay a few hours and would just wait until he could come see me in the day and leave the same day..

i have good sense of people and he gives me really good vibes. we have NEVER talked about sex at all! he really dosen't seem like that kind of guy I mean if he was wouldn't he have brought up sex at least one time in these 3 months? you can comment to my update

Don't be naive. If he was really not that type of guy why is he trying to lure you into his house? Why can't he take you out on a real date? even if he doesn't have money, he can't meet you in a public place? You can't go out for cheapie coffee and go dutch?

You are crazy if you think spending the night at a man's house does not give off a certain impression. At the very least he will have thoughts and hopes about having sex with you. At the very most he could force himself on you. Unless this guy is 5'3, 100 lbs. you will not be able to fight him off in his own home. Use common sense for your own safety. You can talk all that "I'm in control over my body and mind" sh*t all you want to, but what could you do if he raped you? You're alone in his house the first time you met him...not a good look. But hey I guess we need more episodes of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit

I would at least take underwear to change. However if you don't want him to think you were planning to stay and as question girl said you want it to look spontaneous, then just wear the clothes you wore. I'm sure he'll give you a t-shirt of his or something to wear. Don't forget to take contraception and if you take it, the pill with you. You can get away with a toothbrush, Just tell him dental hygiene is important to you, specially when you're dating. Hope that helps

I would add that you should bring a change of panties. They will be compact in your purse and not necessarily suggest over-planning. I even keep a pair in my car.

Lol. Sorry. I guess I just assumed, since you were asking what to take in case you stay the night. If I didn't want to give him the wrong idea, I would make sure not to stay over at his though on the first date. So yes, like the others said, wear something comfortable but pretty. Doesn't need to be a dress. Unless you like wearing them. More like jeans, a nice t-shirt or blouse, a cute cardigan, a bit of make-up maybe, jewelery (?). And perfume. Guys like girls who smell good.
