Won my company’s combatives tournament yesterday, anyone want to congratulate me 😄😉?

So, this is the belt that I was awarded

My company was having a combatives competition after our self defense/hand to hand fighting block of instruction and the day before my platoon had selected me to represent them.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect and thought I was going to lose.

Never did I think I would actually win it all.

Everyone did good and I was proud of my performance, although I could always do better.

My platoon and those supporting me really are the winners here. Big thanks to them all.

Instead, I’ll wear it at home, while watching Netflix and eating some ice cream

Also, won against the guy who beat the other representative of the other platoon.

So, me and the instructor went first

After, two others went

And then I went against the winner of those two.
