Just reassure us we are doing a good job.

Tex Avery or Bob Clampett cartoons. I could rattle off dozens of comedians!! sometimes, just things that animals do. I was watching a video last night of a girl in Australia that sudden became the center of attention for a flock of magpies! They follow her around wherever she goes!
One afternoon, we were playing a benefit gig for a friend of ours outside at some park. Aside of the park was a small creek. As it was a sleep-over, my bassist brought her dog, Oink. As played in the afternoon so, I'm not sure if this was before or after we played but, I was walking along the creek with Oink (dogs generally love me). There was a rather large tree that was actually growing straight OVER (across) the creek!! So, I started walking "up" the trunk of the tree. In the creek just below the tree was a large mass of leaves that part of the roots (I think) kept from floating downstream.
while I was "up" the tree, Oink kept barking at me excitedly because she wanted to follow me but was scared. I kept calling Oink to come on up the trunk with me but she would just dance around trying to decide what to do. Finally, she decided to try to come to me via the ground where she'd be at least directly under me. She jumped off the top of the creek bank onto what she thought was solid ground and went straight through those leaves!! I wanted to go help her but I was laughing so hard, I couldn't move!! She eventually paddled her way out and up to the dry land again!

Puppies, kittens, giggling babies, rare sincere compliments, human touch, being attacked by swarms of butterflies, a hard rain after a long drought, and someone who smiles at me first.

When my Co workers actually work. A bath after a long day. Someone with a nice smile after a rough day. Rain on a hot day. Eating good food.
