Little kids laughter.

surprising my daughters with something they enjoy or hoped for.

watching someone’s face when they taste one of my recipes and their face glows (because they enjoyed it, not because they were going to explode).

when I go to pick up my daughters and they are happy to see me.

when my mom recognizes me (almost never anymore).

when I hear about guys at work talk about me behind my back and say nice things.

when anyone appreciates what I’ve done for them.
