Why does my landlord wake up every time I leave my room or so at to use the washroom at 4 am?

I know but he wakes up every time my washroom is right outside of his room. He goes downstairs and when I return to my room, he goes back to sleep

Yeah, just be careful around him. You could also look for peep hole in the bathroom, where a camera could be hidden.
