Why are so many men upset about a guy being in playboy magazine?

I seen a post on here about it and all the opinions were just men either cussing it or using homophobic slurs. What's the big deal? Women are in playgirl magazine all the time and I don't see girls screaming and crying about it

But more so, because of the larger picture of these woke companies actively attacking their fanbase and customers. This shit was a giant middle finger to "straight males", everywhere. You don't care about it because you're not a straight male, thus it had zero impact on you. We've had ten years of this shit, though.

Corporations attacking men for being straight, men for being white, men for being Conservatives, men for being biological men, and so on. Its not like they don't target women, either. They destroyed Victoria's Secret. They put transwomen - you know, MEN - women's sports. They belittle women by calling them "persons with vaginas" and other shit. They do this to Divide and Conquer. They do it for outrage clicks. But most of all, they do it to shit on people they hate for no reason other than Marxist bullshit told them they're "oppressors."

And no, people are fucking SICK of these petty attacks against them from the far left. All this shit of "dismantling the patriarchy" and shitting on men, straight people, Christians, white people, Conservatives, etc, merely for existing. I'm not even half of these things listed, by the way. I'm not white, religious, or Conservative. It's just petty and childish, though.

And they do it PURELY out of spite and maliciousness. Its called "The Culture War" for a reason. They could've done this in Playgirl, the old one or the relaunched one, but they did it in something MEN have enjoyed. And it was out of pure spite just to say "Fuck you, CIS straight white males!"

These people are willing to literally destroy a legacy company just to do this. How many things that "men enjoy" have been destroyed in just the last five years by woke horseshit? Just this year alone, we've seen the death of James Bond and He-Man. In just a few years, it's been Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Terminator, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, video games, tabletop games, and so much more. All for the sake of Demoralization and "taking away something men enjoy."

No, fuck that shit! They can metaphorically shoot themselves in the head, for all we care. But the message is the obnoxious part. I'm upset b/c it's a magazine for straight men. I've loved the magazine for so long, I tattooed Playboy bunnies on my arms to show my commitment. Now instead of proudly sporting my bunnies in public I'm worried what people will think of me.
And since the tattoos are permanent, I'm trapped wearing these logos no matter what the magazine decides to present ! It makes me cringe !

No men’s magazine would ever have a man on the front cover with naked women inside, that’s pretty confusing at first glance when you’re supposed to see a woman on the front at least. Women being in Playgirl magazine is very different because most women find the female body sexually attractive. Being heterosexual means something very different for women than it does for men.

@CaliSixx That's just the problem: Playboy doesn't care if people don't buy it. Their circulation was already way down, but they've had thousands of cancelations. Anyone could have told them that they'd have thousands of cancelations.

This isn't the action of a business who is expanding and trying to grow the business - there was never any expectation that that would happen. Rather, this is a business that is pushing a radical political position that is only held by about 8% of the population, very few of whom are among their existing customers.

They did this to virtue-signal, so they could tell themselves that they're superior to other people, and so their Hollywood friends would agree. They did this at the expense of their customers and their shareholders, and they did it knowingly.
