D: All of the above. I literally haven't even thought of Playboy since that show Amber Heard starred in on NBC, called The Playboy Club (oh my, the irony in that). As I said on YouTube, Playboy should've just gone the way of Brazzers, or maybe merged with them, some ten years ago, but Hefner was too behind-the-times and thought the internet was "just a fad." And now, woke feminists have taken a giant steaming sh*t on his legacy with this. Can't feel too sorry for him, now. Eh, I still feel a little sorry for him. No one deserves woke dipsh*ts destroy their entire life's work.

This isn't about audience or sales. The people cheering for this don't buy Playboy, and the people canceling their subscriptions, who will never go back, have no desire for this. This alone could cost the magazine 20% of revenue, permanently. But THEY DON'T CARE.

This is about virtue-signaling. People in the woke elite crowd will call them "stunning and brave" and will give them awards for their "enlightenment", and they'll be able to feel superior for a while.

This is the same company that, shortly after Hef died, tried to take the naked women out of the magazine for the same reason (virtue signaling) - and lost half their readers and had a 22% approval rating - quickly forcing them to bring back the naked women.

The people in charge of Playboy today didn't have to do anything to build it, and they don't care about it's actual success - they care about their own personal status as "woke progressives" and if they take down an iconic magazine in the process, oh well. These are the same people who have decimated the comic book industry exactly the same way, the same people who are trying to destroy video games the same way, and the same people responsible for all of the woke Hollywood productions.

They're fully aware that their crap doesn't sell, but THEY DO NOT CARE. They just want the social points from the woke elite. That's all that matters to them.

Ok, are you ready to hear some shit that will just make you shake your head in disbelief? Hugh Hefner basically turned the reins of the Playboy publication to his daughter “Christie Hefner” and after putting her female touch on it… it began to lose interest in it’s main consumer… horny men who wanted nothing more than something to take to the bathroom and rub one out quickly.

Well, after running it into the ground she decided to jump ship and attempt to be a “philanthropist” inspired by Barrack Obama to give more time to charitable work. From there, their publications dropped to 11 a year, then to 10 a year and finally decided to no longer publish frontal nudity.

Now, I’m just taking an educated guess and say that they are now desperately attempting to cater to a more diverse market and it’s not one that is interested in women at all. You know what I figure out quite a while ago… Cosmopolitan became better than what Playboy started becoming earlier on! Seriously, they have better pictures and better stories!

Having never read a playboy magazine myself I'm not entirely sure what the content usually is inside.
I'm aware that yes they may have images of women in a similar fashion, ie only dressed from the rib cage down?
But are there articles and advice pages like the women's mags?
If the sole purpose of it is just a flip book of more provocative images then I can imagine the person on the cover would be more provocative inside.

If a person who usually buys the mag sees the cover and decides this particular print isn't for them then perhaps the sensible thing would be to avoid it.

I'm sorry to say this but sexual preference isn't something you can influence your born with it.
I truly believe that trying to convince people otherwise leads to more harm than good.

We are living in an age of choice, and that means whatever sexuality you reside with you are free to explore it.

And live it openly its 2021.

I'm not entirely sure why we can't have a company that caters to all, maybe with a main and additional prints.
That way they target all the market.

There used to be a Playgirl magazine that had nude guys and was targeted at women and gay dudes. Playboy was the flip side of that. Playgirl folded in 2016 and the next year the first male to female transgender (no penis) was in Playboy. So with that in mind... it's sort of like they combined Playgirl and Playboy. When I was a kid there were maybe 3 main nude mags and a bunch of lesser known ones. Playboy was considered the lamest out of them all BUT they also had a reputation for having good investigative journalism that had nothing to do with the sex stuff so that was probably the real reason they didn't go out of business 20 years ago.

Point is tho.. it's really nothing new. They're probably desperate for cash and think this will get them more customers.

Because despite what you’re low IQ is Playboy is about the erotic not the sex. If you want sex you buy hustler, if you want allure, sexy and class you buy playboy. Playboy realizes that appeal and eroticism comes in many forms and that it’s readers aren’t just slack jawed white males. It’s demographics have always been in large part women. Plus sexuality isn’t binary. A majority of men are bisexual and can appreciate the feminine aspect of the human form irrespective of ones genitalia.
Bottomline is that the world is changing its views on the to be more in line with the feelings and emotions that were already inside us.
