Fendi watch was lost at the pool I used to lifeguard at. And I said "if nobody comes to claim it I have dibs on the Fendi watch." Well, nobody came to claim it and I had a Fendi watch.
Hey congrats! Were you a lifeguard?
Me too! :)
Pool! I taught swimming lessons and was a pool manager too. You?
Never worn them, but always find stuff at the beach. Facebook has been a blessing to get these items back to the rightful and very relieved owners.
That is wonderful!!

I've found but then because is buy and sell jewellery I scan the ground and whilst I make an effort to find the owner after a month it end up in my scrap or sales inventory, to date I've found
1 gold earring, 5 silver earrings, 2 silver bracelet/bangles, a silver necklace, a silver Pandora charm, a gold necklace and a gold cufflink
That is a lot! Wow!
Most of it wasn't worth much £1 here or £5 there excluding £15 for the necklace and £330 for the cufflink
That’s such a beautiful necklace. I haven’t done this before but one time I was working at a grocery store for Valentine’s Day and I had a guy drop a real Tiffany and co necklace at my register as if he was actually leaving it for me. When I worked there we aren’t technically supposed to accept gifts but I couldn’t resist and kept it a secret.
Wow your a white female human and hear I always thought you were a green martian from mars
😂😂😂😂😂 my profile pic says otherwise
@humanearth yes, @loves2learn is the real thing.,
Yeah I found a gold ring with a 10k diamond in it at a dollar general and a gold wedding band at my job I couldn't find the owners so now I just have them
Oh I don't wear them though aside from a prank
Sweet finds!
No jewelry. Just a wallet.
And when the guy was going to give me a $10 reward my mom refused. She said I should have returned it anyway, I shouldn't be rewarded for something that I should have done.
I was really upset.
Rude! Someone sent me $20 for sending them a lost check.
Well her heart was in the right place lol
I'd embarrassed her so much as a little kid, stealing knick knacks from her friend's homes to the point that they didn't invite her anymore.
I didn't find that out until I was a teenager.
I'd stopped stealing when I was around 11 but I never knew how much I'd hurt her.
I felt like such a jerk.
I complained about everything she did then. But after growing up I learned to appreciate everything she did.
Do you remember Montgomery Wards?
I do remember Montgomery Wards!
You drove them into the ground 😂
There may have been things wrong with their business model.
I’m sure it’s similar to what happened to sears
No, but last year I found a diamond engagement ring in the parking lot outside the gym. I turned it in at the front desk. I don't know how it ended up.
I bet they came back for it. That was the right thing to do.
I have found jewelry several times. I usually put an add in the local paper and on Facebook. They have all been returned to their rightful owners.
That is really awesome! I love happy endings!
I never have, but I congratulate you on your escapade with the found-borrowed-and-returned jewelry.
Why thank you very much
I have never found a random piece of jewelry that wasn’t mine. Where did you find it?
At the airbnb! On a piece of furniture.
Wow!!!
I have not. I did find a wallet in a river once. It stank. I put into a bag and dropped it off at the local police department.
I found a wallet in the river too! And I returned it too! I think I was 15 or 16 and the owner was a really hot guy lol
Never happened, and even if it does happen in the future, I would give it back. I feel very uncomfortable having/using things that aren't mine
Yes I’ve found jewelry, and after I’ve made a goof faith effort to find the original owner, ill keep it, sure.
Colorado, that name always fascinates me whenever I hear it.
I think it started with some movies or novels I came across in my childhood
Random! 😂😂😂
I just love the name.
And loved it even more when I saw it in The Prestige
found a bag of pot when i stepped out of my car at the dairy queen about 50 years ago, no social media, it went up in smoke
😂😂😂😂😂 good find
Yes. A few times in mall parking lots. Took the items to lost and found. Never wore them.
yeah a neckless that i found after a night of a threesome
Cool. Good for you.
Like you would be the third?
Good luck! :)
Not at this time
@loves2learn understood but sometime in the future? I can live with that
I always make an effort to return things i find. After about two months i just absorb it into my clutter.
I have finders keepers policy
I found it in the airbnb. I’m pretty sure it belongs to the owner.
Fuck that. I'm pawning that shit 😂😂😂
No that has never happend lol
That's really nice 🙂
Nope! Don't wear jewelry! :-)
Naw, i haven't
If I find it I will keep it
In an airbnb?
No..
Nah, finders keepers
Even in an airbnb?
