As stated in my profile, I am a former automotive industry executive that served in the United States Coast Guard with a dual MoS with the Marine Corps. as a rescue swimmer and SAR specialist. I served in various fire departments as an interior firefighter and EMT as well as a police trainer for high-speed pursuit.

I am the father of two girls, one is 49 and has an Ed. D, two children of her own, and a husband who has a Ph. D. in computer science. She is a principal in the Boston School District, he is Vice President in a large corporation in Boston.

The other is working for the District Attorney of Pittsburgh, Pa. She has her master's in Art History, received from Kingston University in London, England, after getting her bachelor's from Syracuse University.

I have raced everything from old coups on cinder tracks of Northern NY to off-road motorcycles and trucks in the desert on the West Coast, to asphalt modifieds all up and down the East Coast, from New Hampshire to Florida.

I was married to a beautiful, intelligent, extremely capable redhead on November 11th, 1967, and she died on August 24th, 1988 from the most aggressive form of cancer. I've had prostate cancer and a TURP. Because of that, I have ED. I also have had 5 heart stents, and have had diabetes since I was first diagnosed at age 30.

My dad, my granddad, and my president all died within a month of each other in 1963. My Mom is still living in her own apartment and turns 105 at the end of December. My brother will be 82 in March. So, there you have it. That's part of who I am.

Logical, cynical, dark sense of humour, a writer, a gamer, love fiction more the real world, try to keep things as factual as possible, love learning science and biology and weird facts, mostly an outcast, if i love someone i am the most loyal loving person ever which is a contrast to my cynical nature, lazy which is never gonna change really.

Also the best things in life are Cuddles, Pizza and creatures that aren't cats or dogs even if i do love cats such things as snakes, komodo dragons, spiders, racoons, foxes, other types of insects.

I am all those that I hold dear and quite close to me, I am sure that if I ever lost my memory and could not remember who I am, I would be able to find myself again in them... for what I mean to them as much as they mean to me, that's who I really am...

I am an amalgam of many influences. My parents were WW2 vets and were serious if not strict. I have had adversary in life and had to overcome some obstacles. I overcompensate from being a fat kid who was not academically gifted. I am curious and motivated. I try to be fair minded and try to be a work in progress.
Sometimes I can be bigger than life and others I can fly under the radar.

I don't really know. My whole life I've had to conduct my actions based on what is the social norm according my perspective... to be honest i don't even know if i can know myself. Best i can do is behave in a manner which feels right, countering the average and elevating my actions to that which i have experienced. My condition is a blessing and a curse. But allows me to view others and myself in an almost mathematical way.

I'm creative, yet logical. I enjoy nature, but I can also see the facility and beauty in manmade things as well. I have my sad times, but I have my happy times as well. I've been in five major professional career areas throughout my working life, yet somehow, most of them have been able to mesh with the others in some sort of synergy!
