Are you pro or anti science, and why?

Science is fine. But it's not a suitable replacement for morality. This is explained well in the book "Starship Troopers," which takes place in the future, after the right to vote was only given to people who signed up for 2 years of service under the government (the only people who could not choose to serve where those who were deemed by a private psychologist to be unable to understand the oath, and anyone could quit at any time without consequence):
>Service men are not brighter than civilians. In many cases civilians are much more intelligent. That was the sliver of justification underlying the attempted coup d' etat just before the Treaty of New Delhi, the so-called 'Revolt of the Scientists': let the intelligent elite run things and you'll have utopia. It fell flat on its foolish face of course. Because the pursuit of science, despite its social benefits, is itself not a social virtue; its practitioners can be men so self-centered as to be lacking in social responsibility.
Pro science (which is also anti vax against the experimental covid vaccines that have bad side effects and death). Also when someone has better anti bodies from recovering on their own, science shows that they don't need a vaccine and are better protected, but the anti science democrats (especially Faucci) still want to force it upon people.
by the way, many people that claim to be pro science (mostly democrats) actually go AGAINST what real science would suggest. And in case you are curious, I was able to pass the California state educator's exams (including science) CSET on my first attempt, so I actually know what I am talking about, not like many of the ignorant people that often comment.
Science is a tool, just like any other, and like any other tool it can, and often is, misused. Too many people worship what they think is "science", but which is actually political dogma.
ProBecause it feels a little silly to be against something that our lives are practically built on.

Obviously Im pro science. But science doesn't need marching for. Science is merely theories about nature codified into peer reviewed literature.
What the masses of people consider "science" is actually more like alchemy. They believe science is a kind a magic that can create anything. From flying cars to magical pills to cure cancer. Actual science says its more economical and logical to have underground railroads and to stop eating harmful foods. They dont like science. They like the fantasy of science.
I am both
I'm 100% pro-science, but I also know that science is highly susceptible to the corruption of money. For example, when the refer to "the" science in regards to covid, they are talking about pure corruption.
Real scientists are skeptics. They question everything. They test, research, hypothesize, theorize, and openly debate. When scientists are censored, it's no longer science.
They said the side effects of the vaccine is worth not catch covid.
Modern cause heart issues.30-under children having heart attacks
These people tested on puppy's tortured them slit their vocal chords so they couldn't scream while being tortured.
. My people was has been unknowingly tested on gave syphilis, injected with plutonium radiation.
All in the name of science.
I'm pro common sense ill take the data collected all over the world first not just the USA then I'll make a decision.
nobody is anti science. but science has its limits. science has many flaws, and science is not the answer to everything
science tells us how to build a nuclear bomb... it doesn't tell us if we should.
there is also much wrong with modern science. 75% of published studies cannot be reproduced and those that are published have a great bias towards sensational claims... and the studies that disprove those studies don't get published
Ofc pro-science. It does explain phenomena all around us, allows to live in comfortable conditions and make technological advancement.

I'm not anti-science... why? because I'm not a dumbass
I'm generally pro-science. I'm just against genetic engineering. And certain nuclear technologies. (And I also think some robotics may go too far. That's something we need to keep an eye on.)
Pro.
But people need to realize is science is continuous learning. Things we know today may no longer be true tomorrow due to new evidences.
I'm pro-science. We can learn fantastic things with science.
Anti science? That's kinda dumb... I mean this whole situation just got people stressing who cares if your pro or not there is better things to focus on than other people's opinions. Like ur own life and not be affected by the outside world sm.
Anti-science obviously. We need to get back to the good ole days where people shit in their drinking water, got sick and blamed it on witchcraft.
Sounds like an American type question *checks author*... yup
If you can’t question it? is not science is bullshit!
I love science, but in most cases the are against our fundermental believe and against Our God , teach us false lies against our God
Uhg… anti science. Hang on, my microwave is done making my breakfast before my doctors appt today which I’m Ubering too using the internet on my cellphone.
A more to the point question would be, if you are anti-science, why?
Pro science of course! Anti sciencers choose to stay dumb sheep and stay with their religious believes
Pro-science, because questioning things is how we learn.
