Here's a great one I just wrote down a few days ago. From my second favourite family drama of all time. Everyone should live by these words (yet, we all struggle to.)

"Amber, life will knock you down more times than you can possibly imagine. Don't knock yourself down. Don't avoid feeling embarrassed because you're afraid something's not going to go well. So what if it doesn't go well? So what? Put yourself out there. Give yourself a chance."

(The context here is that a teenager, who has a natural talent and is working hard at playing guitar, in a moment of boldness and confidence, signed up to sing and play an original song she made up, at an open mic night in a coffee shop, but when she was gently critiqued, and also encouraged by her family, she felt overwhelmed, intimidated, and decided she didn't want to do it because she was too afraid, might embarrass herself. Her mind appears set against it now. Her mother's words are rejected. Her mother asks her uncle to come in and have a talk with her. He's very good with these things. People listen to him. It's hard not to, he makes so much sense.
Amber goes, performs well, and learns a valuable lesson.)

If you are good at something, never do it for free.
    - Joker (I love many more joker quotes)

Reality will take you from A to B but imagination will take you to infinity
    - Albert Einstein

    No need of worthless wishes,
Life is the river we are the helpless fishes.
    - By me (I just love this poetic line by me. Sad and motivational themed.)

I never loose, I either win or either learn
-By my dad (the quote he often says to motivate me when I feel low after not getting selected in a quiz or music competition)

“A nice, hot cup of tea will solve everything.”
    ”Don’t hesitate.”

Both are attractive. One to stop and ponder, think things through. The other to not miss an opportunity. You take a moment to ponder a given life shovelful, you’ve already accepted the former and rejected the latter. The conundrum.

“Take each step as it comes.”
”There are no right or wrong choices, just choices.”

Moral. You’re probably screwed either way you go.

      Second most sensible thing:

Happiness consists in getting enough sleep. Just that, nothing more. All the wealthy, unhappy people you're ever met take sleeping pills; Infantrymen don't need them. Give a soldier a bunk and time to sack out in it and he's as happy as a worm in an apple - asleep
