How do I stop my dog's bad behavior?

I got a couple rottweilers, both just over a year old. There's a big one, about 120 pounds, and the other is a runt. Maybe about 80 pounds. The bigger one isn't a problem. Other than occassionally running when let out, she's very well behaved. The runt, on the other hand, is a nightmare. She jumps on you 24/7. Ignoring her will only result in her biting you. She doesn't seem to get the corelation of positive reinforcement because the bad behavior keepls going. If you're eating she will run up and try to take food out of your hands, and I don't know where this behavior comes from. She always has food in her bowl, and treats but she refuses to eat it. We switched dog foods multiple times and she won't eat any of it. And the chewing is driving me nuts. She already pulled up tiling from my kitchen floor so it looks like a crack house. So now that's got to be replaced. Bitter apple and other chewing deterrents don't work. If you put her in another room while eating she barks and cries the whole time. You got to watch walking around her because she'll throw herself in front of your legs and already made me fall down the steps. I don't know what to do with this dog. She pisses me off. I try to reward good behavior and ignore bad behavior, I never hit her, even my dad who's got decades of experience training dogs can't get her to stop. I don't want to separate her from her sister, and I've seen and heard about dogs refusing to eat and shitting themselves from getting so depressed when you take them to the SPCA so I can't bring myself to do it

Your dogs just want more exercise and to play with you. They are bored... You need to let them run in a big field for a couple hours a day. Since you have two dogs they can easily chase each other back and forth if you give them room to roam. They can wrestle with each other outside and tire each other out. That will solve most of your issues... That said, one is specifically trying to play with you. That one wants your attention and affection. They bump into your legs because they want you to pay attention. They nip at you because they are trying to initiate play and rough house. They chew stuff up because it is fun for dogs, and when they are young they are often dealing with teething. So spend some time on the floor wrestling with your dogs, petting them, scratching their belly, etc. Get some toys like ropes and a ball. Let them bite one end of the rope while you hold the other end and play tug-o-war. Throw the ball and play fetch to get them to run off some of their energy. Also provide some bones/chew chips so that they have something appropriate to chew on when they get bored.

well one basic idea that should help some would to get a literal muzzle seeing as you mentioned both biting and food stealing. as well, though am sure am going to hear a lot against this and you dont seem to want to go this route, actual corpral punishment should actually help. (yes a type of hitting) not saying cause actual harm or to beat the dog either. i recomend using an envelope that happens to have a cellephane window in it. this happens to also add the effect of sound (likethe clicker technique would) and actually does no harm to your dog. seeing as canines are derived from wolves (and i believe a few other things such as foxes but still mostly wolves) and the way the heirarchy of such works, some "violence" is required into setting the pack order. you (your spouse/children) should be the alpha of your pack (your familyand pets) so would be the one to give such punishments for going rogue from the pack order. this way you do that "violence" without actual harm, show your dominance as the alpha, and should restore order.

Maybe she is allergic to something in her food and is looking for alternatives or maybe she had an undiagnosed issue. They have music that soothes adults so see if there are meditation CDs for dogs. I would not recommend giving adult music to dogs cause their ears might be different, and another thing is my high school physics teacher told me dogs can hear noises that humans can’t so if you’re located near an ocean or an area where there are noises that dogs cannot handle, that might explain her behaviour, and your dog looks very skinny so if it is starving or hungry, that might explain why it keeps eating when it should not - once again this goes back to the undiagnosed allergies that I mentioned.

A bored dog is a destructive and disobedient dog. They need more exercise.
You need a new a professional trainer.
If you can’t handle either of these things reach put to a Rottweiler specific rescue. They will
be the dogs safest bet to finding their perfect home. (Been training working dog breeds since the 90’s)

She needs some negative reinforcement to understand qhere she's messing up. Some will disagree with me here, but a shock collar wouldn't be a bad option. There are collars that are pushbutton operated from a remote.
And yes, definitely make sure she's getting plenty of opportunity for exercise, mental stimulation (like teaching her commands), and positive attention when she's being good.

It might work to do what the superior dog in his pack would do - throw him on his back and grab him by the throat.  The most important thing in dog training is to be consistent.

Try everything and just cause your dad's a trainer doesn't make him the BEST trainer in the whole wide world another person could get her in shape and then you don't have to give her away.

You can enroll your dog in behavior classes. But re-home your dog if nothing works and do not go the SPCA.
