Do you think it should be illegal to kill animals that we eat?

Not cats and dogs, and intelligent animals... but dumb farm animals like cows and pigs and whatnot... Do you think you should get a prison sentence if you kill one at a slaughterhouse or something, or kill one in the wild like bear Grylls born survivor?

Personally I don't think we should cos it's nature and if a God exists he wanted it to to be this way that the alpha species eats the inferior species, I don't think nature made any mistakes... Nature is always right

That would be AWFUL. What do you think living like that would be like- taking bites out of creatures that were still alive? That would scream and try to flee, but you'd quickly have to learn how to wound and cripple them without killing them, so end up maximizing their suffering? Horrendous.

I’m not sure what you mean by “it’s nature”. Animals kill other animals for food all the time, that’s also nature. Besides, you gotta kill plants to eat them too, they’re nature also.

Plus, do you have any idea how many other animals are killed while those vegetables you eat are being farmed? Tons of them - insects, worms, field mice etc.

Basically in order to eat you always have to kill something.

I think it is wrong to call cats and dogs intelligent animals yet farm animals like pigs dumb animals. In fact, a quick Google search would show there are studies that conclude pigs are more intelligent than dogs.

Well by dumb I jus mean like what they do. Cats and dogs seem smarter cos they're interactive with humans and do stuff. And come to you when name is called. Pigs and cows jus stand there and don't seem to know fuck all

We eat animals because their delicious not because god tells us to. Also the laws around animal slaughter are pretty strict. You can't just turn at a farm and have a go.
