Handing in a resume?

My parents are freaking out on me and they're taking me to the mall tomorrow to hand in resumes. I have really bad anxiety and I'm so scared because I've never seen anyone hand in a resume before so I keep thinking I'm going to look really stupid. How the heck do you hand a resume in?!

It happens all the time, you're not going to look stupid. Remember to dress nice, be polite and professional, shake their hand firmly, and smile. :) They'll likely ask what kind of hours you're looking for, some will do an interview on the spot, some will have you fill out an application. But it's not a big deal at all. The more you do it, the easier it will get. :) Also, try to have a cover letter on your resume, and make it specific to the job you're applying for, even if it's just a simple job - go online and do a little bit of research to make yourself stand out. like, to apply for a job? seriously, not a big deal. you've got to have the actually application filled out, and maybe a cover letter as well, but just hand it to them. smile, shake their hand, tell them you'd appreciate their consideration for the job.

Just walk in, and ask if there's a HR person you can talk to. If not, ask if you could see the floor manager.

When you're approached by the appropriate person, just give them your biggest smile and say "Hi, I was wondering if you had any vacancies at the moment."

or

"Hi, I know you don't have any vacancies right now, but I was wondering if I could give you a copy of my resume, in case you have any openings in the future?"

Look presentable..smile..be polite..and just hand them your resume as if you were handing your friend something she asked for. Tell them that you are looking forward to hopefully getting an interview and that you are excited about working..they want to see eagerness not clinginess (guys are the same way)

First of all, go in prepared to interview- dress well.

You go in, ask for a manager or a supervisor on duty and hand it in. Some will still have you fill out an application, some will just take it, others will interview you right on the spot.

its just turning it in so bring to the same place you got it like the same part of the store. They probably won't even say anything to you they will call you later.
