I've always wanted to learn playing some musical instruments but I ended up learning other things instead. 😐 If I could, I would at least learn how to play piano. How about you? What is it?

I've got my CDL, class A, which means if it can legally go on the road, I can drive it- unless it's a motorcycle, I have to keep adding for the sake of thoroughness. I should probably pick that up at some point, just to get my pedantic brain to shut up. It'd also be cool to learn to fly a plane. Chicago DID get the space shuttle simulator, but hadn't opened up public access to it by the time I left, which is a pity. Why? Well...

That's the cockpit of the Columbia (rest in peace, brave ones). If you can look at that picture and not be tempted to learn what every last one of those buttons, switches, and dials does, then, well, I'm not going to say there's something WRONG with you, but you've clearly never been a ten-year-old boy. So yes, I want to know how to fly a space shuttle, and so does everyone who answers this question who's older than me.

It'd also be neat to learn how to play the theremin.

Martial arts and Japanese.

Never learned Japanese (my mother's first language) because I'm simply too bad at learning languages, and I had to focus on the ones being taught in school.

Always wanted to go to martial arts, but was already doing professional dance, so I didn't have time.

I also want to improve on playing the piano, but unfortunately I moved out of my parents' house (they have a piano) and I can't afford a keyboard right now xD.

I also wanted to learn an instrument for a long time, which I now did during the pandemic, just the ukulele though but it is still awesome to be able to play lots of songs and sing along <3.. and it did make me want to learn even more! I am with you on learning the piano and guitar, but then I'd switch the violin for the cello <3

I want to learn to play a keyboard. I like that the settings can be changed to sound like different instruments. I could never afford one when I was younger. I have one now, but I haven't had the time yet to really learn to play it. All I learned was Twinkle Twinkle, Happy Birthday, and the first section of Fur Elise. I stopped trying to learn because I was working full time and going to college taking 15 to 18 units per semester. Probably in a couple years I will go back to trying to learn more though. At least I have it now.
Plus these days it is easier to learn because of YouTube.

Playing the guitar. Which isn't entirely true. Because you can actually learn a lot from YouTube videos in this dept. But there's a difference between knowing a couple songs with just 2 chords and actually knowing how to play the guitar.

I'm a musical kind of guy (excuse me, I play the viola, NOT the violin), so that gets checked off the list. Running is fun too, but I'm not too sporty otherwise except for basketball. I was a theater kid and in all the school plays. I did my school's free ballet program too (the only boy that signed up 🙄). I love drawing and art as well. I love reading and writing. I guess I never really got into computer stuff and coding.
